What impresses me the most about this debut is how well crafted this song is for each of the members voices and how those voices are used throughout the song. There's such an interesting mix of low and high tones, sweet and sultry tones and even melodic and more rap / spoken tones. If the song were a painting it would have an exceptionally gorgeous palette.

I think one of the reasons this debut is perfect is because they let each girls part actually fit her individually. A lot of songs lately you can change the parts and all the members could do all the parts it wouldn’t impact the overall song. These girls are each given her own thing to do her own way and it comes together like a beautiful tapestry.

Listening to it alone without the visuals is like a "normal" song. It's still a good song though. For StayC, I can listen to this imagining the visuals and vibing with the song. The chorus is really a hook. Kudos to Black Eyed Pilseung.

StayC was such a surprise. That roster of members was just incredibly formed. A great balance of deep and high voices that gives a certain variation of sound in the song which makes listening all the more worthwhile. This is the main reason as well why i freakin love Bvndit as a group. My favorite debut by a mile but just because Tag Me wasn't really my type of song, and i'm sure there will be people that will love Tag me more than this because they're totally polar opposites in genre and concept which makes it all the more interesting. As a group i think StayC has more well rounded members in terms of Vocals and dance but weeekly has this unparalleled synergy between the members. Both powerhouse rookies leading the charge for 4th gen gg kpop.

''So bad'' is like sister to ''Eung Eung'', ''Eung Eung'' is moody, slow, night ''reverb'' kinda vibe and ''So bad'' more ''emotional'' pop song (like a kpop version of something that Carly Rae Jepsen would sing). The first thing I thought when I heard ''So bad'' was ''Eung Eung'' they have similar theme going on - the first 5 sec of each song that is present through out the song. I also like that there was no ''forced'' rapper, all 6 members were memorable for me, especially Yoon, Isa, Sieun (I hope I got their names right), I feel like everyone had time to shine and girls are good match for each other and there are a lot of groups where members aren't really good match. Best debut for me for a VERY long time and FIRST new group I am interested since 2010/2011. Their live is also soooo good, they really ate CDs and most groups don't sing live on debut or even first week of comeback.... or even at all.

this song is so amazing! i think the "emotional note" PD mentioned was most prominent in the beginning of the chorus where they sing "내 내 내 내 내 머리 머리내 머릿속이" because of the chord progression (b flat to d minor), i haven't heard it in a while and honestly it makes it so fresh and cool. stayc are a group to watch out for i tell you

I think they gonna slowly build very strong fanbase n blow up later. Later people gonna realize how missed out they are for this group just because they dont have big3 hype for their debut and people gonna really really love them later. They got IT girls vibe. Honestly, this debut absolutely blew me away. I didn't expect STAYC to come so hard, and the melody is so addictive, I'm at a loss for words. The song FAR overshadowed the MV for me and it's such a fresh sound for Kpop at the moment -- but somehow it feels nostalgic too? with some late 80s-early 90s vibes, which I'm a huge sucker for. My absolute favorite part has to be the final chorus, it packs a punch that isn't some magnificent crescendo, but a really smooth and wanton delivery that encapsulated the yearning in the song really well without going over the top -- just the right amount of tension. Cingature's debut was going to be my debut GG of the year (not a fan of Weeekly) but man, STAYC came fashionably late to the party and stole the show completely. I'm so excited to see where they go from here.

At this point I think I stan Black Eyed Pilseung as much as I do STAYC. Twice's songs by BEP got me in to KPop, not that I knew it at the time, as soon as I worked out the association between Twice, BEP and STAYC, I was all for jumping aboard the STAYC train. The girls certainly have the talent, I'm kind of excited and really happy for them.

I just found this song out today and was so surprised on how good it was. The deep-voiced 'rapper', J, sounds like Dami from Dreamcatcher. You said you couldn't put your finger on it but that's who I thought of immediately. Also, I felt that this song felt like a way more positive and joyful "Starlight" from Dreamcatcher. Dare I say, I might even think it has a bit of a retro quality. I would rate this song a 15/10.

I was genuinely flabbergasted when I listened to them. I came across the song in a spotify kpop releases playlist first, actually. I didn’t realise this song was their debut like I just thought I was out of the loop, it happened to me with DREAMCATCHER (I’m so mad because I adore this group so much now I wish I had come across them sooner than recently they’re so goddamn talented) so I figured they were another girl group that I missed out on over the years. I was floored when I found out this was their debut, and I watched the music video and some live performances and fell in love. I don’t just listen to it once when I play the song or watch the MV, it goes on repeat for a good while. It’s been a long time since I’ve had the privilege having a group on my radar from debut, and I am so excited to see what the future holds for them.

Given that Gotta Go, I’m So Sick, Fancy and Dumhdurum are some of absolute favourite Kpop songs, I’m not surprised this song grabbed me. The chorus is PERFECT, it’s that bittersweet emotional vibe while still being upbeat. Everglow’s BBC will always be my favourite debut but So Bad is really strong and up there. StayC are very polished already and I bet their comeback will be great.

i am SO LATE to the Stayc train, mostly because i didn't really vibe with So Bad the first time i watched the MV... then ASAP came out, and i eventually gave Stayc another shot. didn't like ASAP at first either, but i couldn't stop humming it!! so i listened again. and again. and again. gave So Bad another shot. now i'm in love. and i'm so glad i came to watch your reaction, otherwise i never would have known about their label/Black Eyed Pilseung. i don't pay much attention to producers, so i didn't know who they were, but i just looked at their wikipedia AND. SO MANY of my all time fave songs were produced by them!! KHAN I'm Your Girl?, Ruann Beep Beep, Apink %%, PRETTY MUCH ALL MY FAVE TWICE SONGS. and the kicker is i made a playlist with So Bad and ASAP and a few other songs to make it a longer playlist, AND THEY'RE ALL BLACK EYED PILSEUNG SONGS. if it's possible i love Stayc even more now lol. anyway sorry to dump this huge comment on a 10ish month old video, but i HAD to freak out about this revelation somewhere. thanks for educating me on the origins of Stayc and why they're so fantastic!

This debut is 🔥🔥🔥. I have a love/hate relationship with girl groups as the cutesy vibe can be a bit OTT for me. For me, this was a perfect blend between yearning, bad ass with a sprinkle of cute. Visuals - on point, choreo - on point. Amen for the woman with the deep voice!!🙏🏾
