Today is 30 years from THAT July 6th in 1994 that Forrest Gump debuted in theaters nationwide. Directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Tom Hanks, the movie was based on the 1986 novel Forrest Gump by Winston Groom. To this day Forrest is an iconic fictional figure in our popular culture. He is one of the most beloved characters.

this is a wonderful review! i’d forgotten all about this movie until the internets favorite archivist posted this video. i enjoyed listening to it. for those curious, you can listen while going to the bathroom. you can listen while waiting for someone to get ready. you can listen before bed. you can listen while heating up water for your instant coffee have the privilege of that. and you can listen in bits and pieces no matter what.
