Al delivers the goods with easily the best review of the V2!!! Loved the battle with Neevesy who was clearly trying and great to hear of all the small tweeks that have really made a difference that get glossed over in other reviews. The points Al makes at the end about people being faster on one of these than most litre bikes is spot on and would love to see him do a whole video on the subject. SuperSports improved my riding no end, especially on track and owning a 90s Kwaka 600 was the best investment I ever made in my riding. Truth be told, even today I'd take the V2 over the V4... you can ride them harder for longer and the smaller bikes when well built reward good riding far more than simply relying on HP on the straights to make up for your crappy braking and corner speeds.

it astounds me that we can say someone can "step down" to this bike. I mean this is top liter bike power from only 4-5 years ago. The fact that we have 200bhp+ monsters now is insane (but then again, they can only be reigned in with Electronics nowadays...)

Great review Al👍 To me, this V2 is now the pick of the bunch from Ducati, enough power, fantastic handling and drop dead good looks 😍! Most people probably wouldn’t go any faster on a V4, could possibly be slower? I’d rather have this than the V4 , “now with added wings “ ....sounds like a Tena Lady advert!! 😂😂 Besides I’d feel a bit of a nob having a little bimble out for a scone with those black placky wings tacked on the fairing sides, detracts from the V4 rather than adds to it 🤔

I don't really go on track, so more interested in torque/mid range and ease of having fun on the road. Or should I be heading down a different route entirely (Tuono, for example)?
