Andrew's workout routine, and specifically the relatively short overall training time per week is illuminating. Finally, someone whose routine doesn't take 6 hours every day, which is impossible for normal people to maintain. Most people who work, cook for themselves, do laundry and all the other tasks themselves, simply don't have the amount of time to train like the likes of Goggins, or other celebrities who have private cooks and other people to do their chores for them.

I don't think anyone has recommended any of those training regiments? The recommendation has always been try to workout 4-5 times a week, 45-60 minutes is perfectly fine. And switch it up with the different cardio zones. Commuting to work on bike already takes care of a lot of exercise. Then it's just going to the gym regularly and getting some high intensity in there and you're something like 90% there to utter bodily perfection. Where are you getting the "6 hours every day" from? Certainly not from this channel, or hubermans. You've been listening to the wrong hosts :).

He had admitted he was on TRT awhile back, but doesn’t mention it here, which is a glaring omission since TRT explains most of his muscle gain/maintenance despite his relatively gentle workout routine. TRT is a game changer for most males over 40…it pains me when men mention IF or cold therapy but fail to mention TRT, which is typically the most impactful factor of all!

These questions are form anyone who well know Bpc-157! How long can the arginate form of this capsule sit in its bottle before it loses its potency? I only ask because I'm currently taking an acetate form of it but want to purchase an arginate form capsule because it's on sale. I have 56 days left of the acetate, then will take a 2 month break and then start the arginate form to see if there is any difference. It's primarily for gut issues(possible IBS-undiagnosed) but mainly for left distal bicep tendonitis from working out too hard and too long without deloading 2. Do you take bpc 157 arginate with or without food for best absorption? 3. What's the difference between acetate and arginate salt form of bpc 157?(what's better?) And 4. do you HAVE to pair it with TD500 for best results or is it just as good on its own? Thank you

@jamesn71566 ай бұрын
Any kind of short periods of stress on your body can be helpful as long as the body has plenty of time to recover and come back stronger from my understanding. Sauna would just be optimizing it because it really zaps you with heat stress and leaves plenty of time for recovery. Working outside every day might get you part way there as long as you are recovering. If you’re outside all day, every day, it might not help if you aren’t taking good care of yourself elsewhere, but generally speaking it should be better for you than being too comfortable everyday.

Yes, the more refined, the more processed (ex. “Instant oats” vs. Large flake, brown rice vs white rice or cream of rice). The best carb source is probably going to be russet and sweet potatoes, and higher carb veggies and fruits like avocado, berries, kale, dates, etc. potatoes are the least processed carb, you just want a good source (ideally the farmer). Rice is a lot better than pasta, and a lot better than store bought bread. Some are just completely man made ie. table sugar and candy on the extreme end. There’s a hierarchy and “levels” of refinement for carbs. Always go with the least refined

it seems to me that a lot of people that do not take stimulantes have way more energy that the ones that do take. For example, Jocko, Tai Lopez, Patrick Bet David, Tom Brady, David Goggins, you may not like some of this names, but the amount of energy and motivation that this guys have is really big, some of the healthy gurus looks like they are drained of energy, all the time, maybe is because of the pressure to looks like they have healthy and vitality that they exagerate on the caffeine... just my thoughts

I might be delusional, but, does anyone else notice that lot of people who are doing tons of intense cold therapy start to look old? It’s weird and it doesn’t make sense. For some of the people who are so healthy I don’t understand why they seem to be aging quickly (Huberman, Brand, Rogan, etc). Huberman is only in his 40s, right? He looks more like he’s in his mid-50s. Like a super healthy fit person but still his skin looks like he’s in his mid-50s to me. 🤷♀️

I thought it's because overtraining. But may be that.. TRT, as it often goes on pair for people who train a lot. From what Andrew says, it really does't seem he trains that much. I'm not an expert in training at all, I do wonder, though, he is so well built, would the excercise routine he speaks about maintain so much muscle?

This isn't sustainable for a male who works 40+ hours a week in a pretty physical job.. burnout would occur after a few months. I'm a father of 3 young girls, I train weights 3 days a week plus a hike or some cardio. I also do Shakti meditation for recovery. I eat nice and clean but this is hard aswell as food is getting ridiculously expensive. I try and limit my meat intake to 3-4 days a week. I take ashwaganda and cayenne pepper in warm water every morning.
@marcosladarense6 ай бұрын
gotta be honest, all you need is sleep (if you don't sleep well, your whole body is unhealthy and there is nothing you can fix), sunlight and sunrays, eat clean (but no need to be paranoid).
