AGAWAM, Mass. - Just over the border from Suffield a sad scene took over the streets in Agawam.
Army Green Beret and Master Sergeant Luis Deleon-Figueroa was laid to rest flanked by family, friends and some who were total strangers eager to show their respect.
Master Sergeant Deleon-Figueroa was a father of two daughters and step daughter, a fiancé, and favorite son from Chicopee, he was killed in a firefight in an Afghan province on August 21st. Gerry Pinard, from Agawam, came out to Main Street to honor Deleon-Figueroa even though they had never met.

My father was in 1st battalion 10th special forces Airborne he recently passed away after dealing with stage 3 colon cancer. Rest in Paradise pops and too this gentleman as well.

But he didn't know such a thing. And his wife did the same thing as well.) 此の画木に魂魄（こんぱく）と申す神（たましい）を入るる事は法華経の力なり。 It is the power of the Lotus Sutra that can infuse such paintings and statue with a ”soul" or spiritual property. 此の法門は衆生にて申せば即身成仏といはれ画木にて申せば草木成仏と申すなり　　（草木や国土の非情（感情のないもの）が成仏することを草木成仏といいます） In the case of living being , this doctrine is known as attaining Buddhahood in one's present form; in the case of painted and wooden images, it is known as the enlightenment of plants and trees. (The insentient beings like plants & trees and the land also attain Buddhahood.) (The enlightened land is called the Buddha land, I think.) 御書　p.1145 vol. 1 p.684 此の仏こそ生身（しょうしん）の仏にておはしまし候へ This Buddha of yours, however, is a living Buddha. (Nichiren refers to Gohonzon which he endowed upon the couple of Kingo Shijo and his wife.) 梵・帝・日月・四天等必定（ひつじょう）して影の身に随うが如く貴辺をば・まほらせ給うべし vol. 1 p.685 Surely Brahma, Shakra, the deities of the sun and moon, and the 4 heavenly kings (Shakra's retainers and at the same time being the heavenly gods) will attend you as a shadown accompanies a body and protect you always. (by means of chanting daimoku of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo before your Gohonzon!)
