Marty O'Donnell is why I think I became a drummer. His thundering orchestral drums and the callbacks of the main theme in every game sounding just as iconic each time. Halo is iconic in more ways than one, partially because of Marty and his vision.

I would consistently come home every day growing up to pay for Xbox live and play with people I would never meet in real life. The story, the gameplay. Halo is more than a game. It's probably the most iconic game series in MY life.

I mean to be fair right Kyle, 80% of those blonde babes are pretty popular well-liked characters. That's all a Halo game can be. Halo has a 'too defined' formula to break off into some totally new and interesting territory that captures some new large audience. You can have spin-off titles, sure, but as a mainline FPS title, any strong deviation from the classic feel of Halo is just going to lose the core Halo audience, and that's *usually* a recipe for disaster.

One thing about Halo Man Games is that, unlike the other franchises, I can see more and more Halo games being made even though they have a protagonist. Other games with a defined protagonist seem too focused on their journey to not eventually find an end for it like they did with Nathan and Snake, who would have been in that picture ten years ago. Mr. Halo Man migh be easier to keep as a relevant face for the XBOX brand.

That T-Shirt topic to me is very relevant and I never decided on what to do. Just going into the Store and buying shirts with some random stuff on it doesnt feel right to me. But having Band shirts or gaming shirts that shove my intrerests in other peoples faces also doesnt. In comics, for the longest time, white characters were exclusively with black or blonde hair. This was done because brown hair, the most common color for white people, was not eye catching enough. It could be that a similar design philosophy is being applied here, too. Smearing brown on a chrome dome could be ruining a character's bright color pallet.
