Just wanted to say thanks! i have been on cpap for 5 years and never had any problems, until last May. I started having really bad dry mouth and my average apneas per hour went from 5 to 30+ hour. Also, my jaw would hurt real bad in tge morning. I watched one of your videos about dry mouth and humidity and you recommended the chin strap, i bought a cheap one on Amazon and it solved my problem. I saw my sleep doctor and he gave me a few different masks to try and also did a test using the Bipap machine that did not work for me. Anyways thanks again man, you really helped alot! Much appreciated!

Thanks for the info, I was about to go get another Knights-bridge, the one I have is wearing out, but that is good to know. I use mine with the bleep system, really helps me cut down on the mouth leaks. I for one think it is a great product, and I hope he gets it all straightened out soon.

@TheLankyLefy27. I use the Evora full with the Knightsbridge DB Premium. Do you use the chinstrap over or under the cap? I tried to use it over but found the straps of the Evora full kept getting snagged in the velcro straps of the cap. Also it seems that the mask would be uneven being used over the cap.

Whoa... So I'm the guy with TWO PhDs who posts here, LOL. I've also been using the Knightsbridge chinstrap off and on since its inception, purchasing 4 over the years. I found and started using the KBCS after I consulted LL27 and he suggested I use a chinstrap. Thanks LL, even if you stole my Monty Python humor. It's a great product, even for nasal masks (not just full face masks).This is a stunner. I have no clue about the backstory (not sure I want to know) but I'm only gonna buy Larry Shaw approved chinstraps from here on. BTW the two videos that were taken off the site were great. They contained the same content but one was taken before he painted the wood in his house white, and one was taken after. Both explained the physics i mean PHYSICS of the KBCS. Glad to know that when it comes to PAP, "I'm following the science." 🤣

That is crazy. I have an outstanding order for the DualBand Premium Air Deluxe. I had ordered a medium but they sent me a large so I currently am waiting on the medium. (I use the large size in the premium version) I currently use the DualBand Premium but wanted to see if not covering my ears would be a little less hot. Bought one chinstrap thru their site, started falling apart as well as velcro didn't last. Would not waste my money at least at this price point. I was using with cpap and sleep just plain sucked! Might work for others but not for me. I'd love to get my money back but they wouldn't respond.

Wowza, as a new "papper" I’m really surprised by how much drama there is! I ordered the strap back in October, and didn’t get it. After several back and forth emails with Edwin, with oddly changing explanations and excuses, I demanded a refund. Edwin promptly refunded my money and said he would send me a chinstrap free of charge when he could. 2 days later, I received the chinstrap, which has changed my papper life, yo! So fwiw, I feel like Edwin isn’t knowingly being the bad guy, but who knows. I hope someday the scandal will have a Netflix documentary so I know what really happened here. The strap itself is amazing. I never ever want to be without it. I use it with the Phillips Dreamwear nasal mask and no longer have to tape my mouth shut. At any rate I hope Larry gets his company back and everything works out so I can get a new strap when this one wears out. Keep on pappin’ everyone!

I have the nasal pillows. very few nights i wake up wearing it. it seems tell them only wearing it for three hours a night or less even though it every single night I go to bed wearing it. can you recommend what to do? Doctor is of no help. turns out the best nights I get are in a hotel. I got two 99s in Las Vegas and then got a 99 in Fort Lauderdale the other day at home my numbers are in the 30s lol

He is wrong. I use a nasal mask successfully with a chinstrap to keep my mouth closed. Dropped from a test score of 38 down to 3!

I ordered from their site back in February. I asked about import fees (I’m in Canada), they said they’d make it work so I didn’t have to pay any. I asked for the Velcro/straps to be swapped to the other side. They said sure, free of charge (since it was the first batch of the ear-hole ones). Well I get the chinstrap a week or two late, get slapped with a $50 import fee and the Velcro/straps weren’t switched. I was pretty angry. Sent them a polite email but never got a reply. TLDR: even when it’s the legit site again, buy from a cpap supply reseller who has honest customer service.

I ordered the damn thing two months ago and have been on the phone with the jackasses several times. Still haven't received it. Was told the guy that handles the shipping was out sick (cancer) and that they'd get it out to me ASAP. As I said, still haven't received it. My next to last call, they told me they were out of stock and that the expected some to arrive soon. That was three weeks ago. Talked to them today and they said they'd shipped it out and gave me a tracking number. The tracking number showed that the package had not been picked up. They gave me a lame excuse that they were shipping to to my city via UPS and that USPS would handle it from there and the tracking number was for USPS. Now, even if it does show up, I'm worried about the quality. I spent >$70 for the most premium one. I'm screwed. I wish I knew about this problem 2 months ago. Argh!

Hi RichApple, it's Larry. In Jason's newest video he points out that his concern with the Knightsbridge and nasal masks is just that your lips might still part and allow mouth breathing, so one possible route is mouth tape and the chin strap. But yes, people do use the Knightsbridge with nasal masks, with and without mouth tape.

It's not that you can't use it. It's that with a nasal or nasal pillow mask you can still have lip sputtering that is disruptive to sleep.

My chin strap also has a strap that goes across my mouth. I can't keep my.mouth closed on my own because I wear a set of mouth guards that intentionally keep.my mouth open. It can be uncomfortable at times, but for the most part, it works reasonably well for me.

I sent him one once we went into production, but I didn't know about Dr. Popper's chin strap when I realized the problem with traditional chin straps (which was as soon as I tried one) and that vertical lift was necessary. Differences between the Knightsbridge and Dr. Popper's cap is (i) the Knightsbridge has an elastic band and a non-elastic band which allows force to be adjusted to be minimal yet still effective, (ii) the full cap design of the Knightsbridge inhibits the cap from sliding forward during the course of the night, and (iii) the cap is made of a three-layer net-mesh for breathability and reduced heat retention.

I emailed you but have gotten no response. There are 2 versions of each story and I would like for mine to be heard. I was not the administrator I was the vice president of the company and manufacturer of the Dual Band. There is a debt owed to me since 2017 and the law is involved I believe this video is just following Larry’s version just because he is a Us citizen leaving us out of the equation. He hasn’t pay our employees a while ago and just took 2 employees. Our lawyer is taking care of this situation.
