If you’re a Catholic or an Orthodox, I highly recommend you pray the Rosary every day. One of the promises of Our Lady is that the Rosary will remove vice and decrease sin. I’ve managed to come out of pornography completely (not watched a single piece of porn movie in two years now and I’ve lost interest in it) and I know that praying the Rosary has delivered me from this. So if you’re a Catholic or an Orthodox, pray the Rosary with devotion and you will receive many graces!

Three years in the making and you nailed it! The comments from other guys were also right on the money. Around 12:00ish, you talked about what I call same-sex gender attraction. It's a low level erotic attraction to men that makes me aware I have the capacity to interact with men erotically, even if I'm not tempted to use it. It's a draw to the gender qualities of other men, as if they have something I lack. But, as you said, we men do in fact have all the masculinity we need. God made us exactly how he wanted us to be. 😁

Great topic. This could be a week's discussion as it is very layered. Well, I introduced myself to porn at a young age, maybe 12. Had a male family member that had many vids. When he'd leave for work, I'd pop in. It was straight porn, but I never found myself attracted to the female part at all. The male part was where the excitement was. It was tangible with different sizes. It's just a nice piece of work. Yeah, I did have sexual feelings for guys before that, but watching the porn really heightened the feeling. With that being said, never been intimate with a woman. I actually prefer straight porn over gay. Just something about the straight guy that is still unknown to me, as a male myself, but gay. I often wonder what it's like to be a straight guy and to only be attracted to women. 🤷 Also, as you said, fear of another man, leads to curiosity, etc. That is absolutely true. I was bullied by straight guys. I feared them, and still do in a sense, as an adult. Quite a traumatizing experience growing up. But now, it is where my sexual desires lie, with straight men. Highly aroused by them. Never noticed there was a connection. You are really nailing these points. I keep editing my comment as you progress. Such relief to hear someone who truly understood the details of these life-altering events. I have been trying to build a friendship with a straight male, without having sex, but have been unsuccessful. I really would like to have a straight friend that I am not intimate with but find it so difficult to make friends at 40. I want to learn from him, what his life is like, etc. I have even looked into men's retreats for male bonding. Not looking for anything sexual. Id just like to have a connection.

Notice that this isn't about suppressing attraction, this is about dealing with addiction. Lust and love are not the same thing, and many people want to enjoy pure love without wanting to do things to people.
