Hidden fact in this movie, When Colmer came in you can see Boobie take his helmet from under the bench when Chris is looking for it. Then when the camera comes back to Boobie, you see him grab his own helmet from under the bench

Such a great film, maybe my favourite sports movie ever (though there's a lot of really great ones, like Remember the Titans, Miracle, etc.). Maybe not the most accurate one tactically (passing on your own 3rd yd line is...pretty damn sus), but otherwise is pretty damn realistic and just emotionally heartbreaking, and the soundtrack is stellar. Great video!

The situational play calling is definitely questionable but for sure everything else is as accurate as it gets to a high school football players life. Thanks for the support!!

Tore my ACL in HS and tried to play through it (which is basically trying to be Superman). My dad was pissed when I pulled myself out of the game, only sophomore starter just quitting. Then saw that I could barely walk, much less run. I recovered eventually, got to play in college, but if he’d been that dad (uncle), could’ve completely ruined my future. I’m positive I’d of gone back in if he told me to… gotta be real with kids sometimes.

It's one of the hardest things as a competitor is to "quit" on your team but sometimes we have to be real with ourselves and realize health is more important. Glad to hear you had someone looking out for your long term well being 👍

Friday Night Lights isn’t just my favorite sports movie, it’s probably my favorite movie of all time. I think the fact that’s it’s based on a true story is the main reason I like it so much. Really wish more people would react to it though, this is the first reaction I’ve seen.

Kind of a flip side of that crazy god given talent, Tom Segura told a story about the RB on his team in high school that was basically a freight train and he played both ways. Tom said in practice that it was impossible to tackle the guy and it was like getting hit by a bank vault door. He said one game they were losing and needed a big stop and they just asked the guy to make a play and he just said, "Okay" and the next snap he sacked the QB before he even completed the handoff. He got a full ride to Syracuse and was on the same team as Donovan McNabb. He then says, he saw the guy a couple years after high school and asked him how football was going and he says, "Oh, I quit. Football is boring." LMAO
