+GoodBadFlicks I have lived with cats for over 30 years. Declawed cats don't make big jumps. and cat owners know there are 2 types, cats that climb, and hide, and cats that stay low. The closet on the second floor, is closer to the middle of the house, and probably one of the warmest spots on the second floor. so the cat would go there to sleep. The door could get shut while the cat is sleeping. These are teenagers, so, my guess is that they wouldn't have heard the scratching, So... when the door opens the cat makes his, or her escape. I have talked to other cat owners who have had cats get into closest, and locked in.

Have to agree with you on that. New Line understood the series and didn't treat it like garbage like Paramount did. Paramount always treated F13 like it was embarressed of it. They did dial back Jason's look from 7 but that was mostly due to the fact that they didn't bring JCB back to direct.

I also like Part VII. It was very creative. I always thought the 13th films would have benefited from a including a group of characters that were tracking/hunting Jason. Tina could be a member, along with Tommy Jarvis and two or three other survivors from previous films. The leader could be a mysterious older man who, at some point, is revealed to be Jason's father on a quest to stop Jason and allow his son's soul to rest in peace. Just an idea.
@seanmcgrath38266 жыл бұрын
After seeing Part VII, I figured they would bring Tina back at some point since she could actually fight back against him successfully. Needless to say I was disappointed. as I suspect many others were also. Your idea is a very good one and they should have done something like it.
@PaulDozierZZoMBiE136 жыл бұрын
Include Creighton Duke and you got a deal! That sounds like a great way to make part 13 actually. The actors who played Tommy and Tina are still around, right? I mean both Tommys are still around if memory serves. No reason it couldn't be done.
@brandonpage70875 жыл бұрын
That is an AMAZING idea, & sounds like the perfect Friday the 13th fan film, & would be the perfect plot for the next Friday the 13th movie! What would make it perfect is if we could get all the survivors from part 2 on up, to all appear in the film, as their characters.
@matthewconnor88425 жыл бұрын
That kind of happens in the Freddy versus Jason versus Ash comic that was based off the script for the movie that never happened. In it, Tommy hunts after Jason; other stuff happens with previous survivors as well. It's worth a read if you're into the mythos of Freddy, Jason and Ash.

The problem is that if it was done in lets say the 90's, it could be done. However, it's now 2017 and if they even tried they couldn't do it because the footage would be way too old to be in any kind of usable condition. If only this movie got the unrated release instead of Jason Goes to Hell.

@marioradium2 That's cool. I will say 9 had one of the best openings of the series. Jason being attacked by a SWAT team was amazing but then the rest of the movie went so far out to try and explain Jason. It made less sense with their explanation. Plus, Jason shooting out of the womb fully dressed, complete with hockey mask was ludicrous. 7 is my personal favorite but they all hold a special place. Even 9, because it got the series away from Paramount. Dr Crews is a major dick!

I remember when i first discovered your channel back when you were starting out, the first video i watched was that Guyver review so it's been a long time, since then i started following you. One of the aspects that i remembered the most was the intro, with the catchy song and the compilation of bizarre scenes, it really stayed with me, but with time i kinda forgot about your channel, i still tuned in every now and then to check out a few vids but overall, i wasn't watching constantly as used to do. I just re-discovered you again and instantly subscribed (since my channel is barely like 2 years old and i hadn't seen your vids in a long, long time.) and i'm so glad to see how much it has grown and i'm catching up with all your exploring videos and reviews, i really enjoy all your content since it's so unique within all the movie channels and because i'm a sucker for everything that delves deep into how the movie was made, production and all that was behind it. But i gotta say, hearing this classic intro again, with all the movie clips, it felt soooooooo damn awesome! This is a great analysis, and I appreciate the work that went into the trivia and bonus footage. I don't know how you got ahold of the deleted deaths, but that's a nice touch. Also, for me Hodder is pretty much the only Jason. His presence and acting are under-rated. This is the best Jason make up. A lot of love went into that make up job. Not just his spinal collum but his shoulder blades bones, the teeth on the right side of his face/mask at 5:21, even his knee joint bones when you see him walking 7:33(not totally clear but visible). That was a awesome zombie makeup job I wonder how long it took the effects team to come up with that. Most people have to say this is at least and average entry in the franchise. I thinks it is in one of my top 3. Side story when Jason fell through the stairs at 8:03 Hodder said he just missed the last step by not even a quarter of an inch. If he would have hit the next step it would probably killed him.

This is also a favorite of mine in the series for many reasons. It was directed by the underrated John Carl Buechler. It's the first film to feature Kane Hodder as Jason (he still should have been in _FvJ,_ if you ask me). The party setting involves a Birthday Party which is a nice little change from the typical "teens spending weekend just partying for reasons sake". The protagonist is someone who *_could_* take on Jason, but with _Carrie_ like powers. The climax is exciting and fun, and even explosive. I'd never thought to get a house explosion in a slasher film, I feel so satisfied now. It even has a sort-of antagonist in Dr. Crews and "Meliss-ow". What is there to not to like in this film? *;D*
