Miranda FUMBLED the bag with Robert. I feel like he really understood her as a person, never derided her for being career driven in the way lots of folks get insecure about, did his damnest to give her life some much needed brevity + sweetness, AND ever so kindly patched up Steve despite him walking in on them doing the do. Like, Miranda, girly, how tf you gonna leave the Knicks doctor for someone that had to ~beg~ you to watch them make a free throw? The ' I love you' cookie was adorable as hell, idc what anyone says.

Robert was very mean to Miranda when they ran into each other after they broke up, it’s a sign that he didn’t truly love Miranda, he just wanted her as his girlfriend. If you really love someone, you would want the best for that person even after the relationship ended. Both Steve and Big cared about Miranda and Carrie after their romantic relationship ended. Aiden on the other hand sent Carrie an eviction notice after they broke up, he was the worst.

​@@junxu4438I hated that part, too, because it actually just go against all of Robert's character that we've seen in the show so far. Like the writers didn't want to just drop him immediately after the break up, but didn't want the fans to keep liking him, because he was better for Miranda than Steve. I know a lot of people love Miranda/Steve, but he wasn't good for her, and wanted her the change more than he was willingly to change, and he was for most of their relationship uncomfortable with her success. Robert in the short time he was on didn't do that. She wasn't forced to change for him, and they were able to compromise.

Aleksandr wasn't terrible; he was just older and set in his ways, which Carrie doesn't deal with well lol. Big was MUCH worse with the extended back and forth, but Carrie was horrible for accepting it, bitching about it to everyone else, volunteering for more, AND treating others the same way.

I may be in the minority here, but I liked patrovsky. I liked that he was classy, worldly and sophisticated. I think he could have brought out a really interesting dimension in Carrie. He was like big, if big had more personality than just being rich. I would have liked the show to explore the possibility that she stays in paris for a while, makes some friends (like the ones she almost met for coffee) and her new york Pals come visit. It could have been nice.

Okay, i am on carries side in the shoe robbery. The fact is her shoes were stolen from her friends party by someone she knew. There are two possibilitys 1. One of her kids toke the shoes and she doesn't want to say it. 2. One of her guest, a friend, saw the carries shoes and stole them. Nobody came into apartment and toke only the shoes. It was someone who was alredy there. I would be humiliated, i would do everything i could to get my friends shoe back. I get it with leave your shoes at the door, that is something most do in my country. Anf than carries friend has the audacity to forget it after a few days/ hours? And then shame a grown woman for what she is spending her money? Oh no, when carrie or anybody want to spent their money on something like shoes, books, dolls usw it is their decision to do that. And what did she mean that they shouldn't pay for carries life choices? Aahhmm carrie paid for your life choices in a expensive baby gift. And other gifts. Ahh i am so mad about that. I would want to know which of my friend is a thief, so that i never invited them again. She don't want to pay for new ones? Find the stolen ones. I was so happy when she really buyed new ones and the saleswoman asked her to keep her children under control. Love your videos

(I'm late to this comment but) and that logic could be applied to get away with anything! Kyra and her husband live in a spacious, top-floor 3-bedroom in Upper West Side Manhattan. How would Kyra feel if Carrie put her cigarette out on her $1200 sectional couch and told her "You spent all that on something you put your butt on? There are really more important things in life, like maybe putting that money into your children's college funds" you KNOW Kyra would've been pissed!

I married a Russian, so I know quite a few Russians through my husband’s connection. Russian guys tend to be quite chauvinistic towards women, just like this character in the show. He looks charming , because he was played by the legendary Baryshnikov. In reality, Russian guys are usually not good lovers, my husband needs to be constantly put in his proper place by me.

I also felt like the writers do what writers often do- they made him too likeable for too long and then were like “oh we need to make it make sense that they break up” too late….so had him become an asshole super fast. I got whiplash.

My thoughts As much as I can't stand Carrie, she was in the right about the shoes. I *HATE* when people wear shoes in the house (I think it's unhygenic & gross bc they're coming from outside and who knows what was on the ground 🤢) but she was justified to be mad about that. Not everyone wants to have children and that's okay. Her stuff deserved to be respected and not touched by random people. Charlotte & Harry's relationship is the only reason I honestly bother rewatching S6. I lowkey forgot that Miranda & Robert dated but I love the point you brought up For me, I prefer an in person breakup because I like closure, it's mature and that way there are *NO* misunderstandings after we end the relationship. Other forms of communication can cause mixed messages, which I don't want. When the relationship ends, it's *OVER* for me, idc

The comment about the shoes seems really victim blame-y. First off, what Carrie spends her money on is up to her. The mother in question literally said she has multiple HOMES! 2nd, Carrie was not warned ahead of time that she'd be expected to remove her shoes! If you are throwing a party and you want you guests to take their shoes off, WARN THEM ON THE INVITE! 3rd, it was the mother's job to secure the guests things. She failed and so she owes her the money for them. I don't usually side with Carrie 100% but this time I do!
