I Downloaded As Many Halo CE Mods As I Could

Hello froggy frens I originally was going to do a mod video for all of Halo but there were just too many dang mods for CE so I made a video just of me playing a bunch of them. I will probably do mod videos for the other games unless this one absolutely tanks. Which is completely possible!

EDIT: he said the flood one was pretty good and gave it red so red is better then pink. EDIT 2: he called the minecraft one interesting and still gave it turquoise so it cant be last.

To be fair Cursed got the most luck when it came to getting big KZbinrs and Streamers to play it, mods aren't too different from games in that having big names play it gets it a lot of attention. But yeah, CE has had some fantastic mods since it came to MCC-PC, never mind the old days of Halo modding.

There is another mod, i think it is called halo xl. It has the same issue: every problem is solved with throwing a nade and letting chained explosions make all enemies go bye bye.

If you happen to go browsing Combat Evolved mods again, 'CE+ Beyond' also includes 'Canyon' with it's own weapon sandbox (Most of them are Digsite weapons, but the 'Halo 2 E3 Battle Rifle' is a lovely highlight of the UNSC weapon roster, even if the 'Halo 2 SMG' & the original CE animations for the Pistol-with-no-Optic are missed by myself from the previous CE+ Anniversary release) and "looking like that", too. Otherwise, 'Mercury Rising' could prove a mighty interesting time, especially with it's Part II "Coming Soon" (Mod author 'aLTis94' has trailers for both on KZbin). 'Brutality Evolved' might prove something of a laugh with it giving you more brutal feedback the likes of Half Life or Quake and some extra weapons to deliver such brutality. I am the sort for mods such as 'Ruby's Rebalanced', 'Combat Revolved' & 'The Silent Cartographer: Evolved', but I don't know if some of the more ridiculous secrets for 'TSC:E' still remain in the MCC-port (Besides a certain picture on a certain wall & how it treats it's Easy difficulty). 'Project Lumoria' might be worth a look into, but it's MCC-port might have some persisting known issues that serve as trade-offs for the Co-op support (It was given an additional 'Ruby's Rebalanced Edition', though) and, despite it often being praised for it's level & environmental design, it's voice acting is very "What we had at the time" and you will have to be wary of the licensed music it occasionally, but loudly uses if you decide to stream or "KZbin" it.

I think Halo RPG shows off that RPG maps should probably be used more for their intended purpose of RP rather than campaign maps lol and that they need better lighting, that has always been a thing with custom maps though

Oh god yeah, Halo RPG infuriated me because it expected me to take long, winding trails to point A, to then back track and find some hidden path to point B, to then make my way back to some outpost or the base. All with minimal checkpoints, and not a lot of ways to get up or down slopes without dying if you don't want to go ALL the way back around. At one point it had me go all the way to the top of the island, just to tell me I needed to go all the way back to the bottom. I thought I'd found a path to take, but it ended up not being suitable for Chief to walk on...so I got stuck in a loop of falling to my death until it forced a previous checkpoint revert...which took me back almost 40 minutes of game play. I uninstalled.
