He is Dutch. The Dutch are very straight forward. For me it's not a problem (did it many times) to just ask someone who I met if he's straight or gay. I have several straight friends, who join me to gay parties. Actually my best straight friend himself, would say „Let's go to a gay pub" whenever he is bored in a straight venue. So we go there, with his girlfriend. Many straight friends tend gay venues, since there is little to non testosteron (violence). Btw, one doesn't fall in love with a gender but with a personality. During my military a straight crush on me. His first; initiatives were his entirely. Unfortunately later on, he refused to see me for years.

Omg not he’s not “undefined” any more than someone that admits they’re gay or straight is. Saying you’re gay or straight doesn’t “define” you either, if you mean it’s some big cosmic limitation or something. He’s just bisexual and was a bit unsure or thought he was gay and now he considers himself straight. He clearly considers his “time being gay” as just a confused time in his life due to how low he was in his life at the time and that he latched on to some gay friends’ “fabulous” lifestyle, or at least that’s how he’s explaining that time “being gay”. He may change his mind tomorrow again, too. Anyone might.

As a bi myself, I believe in the theory that there are shades of bisexuality... Some bis are more into women and others are more into men... There are times I feel no attraction to one or another. And that's OK. Maybe it's his case, he just don't consider himself as bi - or pan - and it's OK, it's up to him, you know?
