Before I forget! Put your tissue paper on disposable paint palette paper and you can lift the pieces up and move them to make more, and you can reuse the palette paper over and over again!

@@FroyleArt All of your videos have something that I enjoy whether it's no more than an encouraging word or a new way to splat paint on paper!!! I have learned so much about adding textures with mark making as well as layering those textures to get amazing and striking results!! Combing colors and textures is sooo much fun! Currently I am creating MORE black on white and white on black with golds and bronzes for a gigantic collage for over our fireplace! I think there must be a bit of blazing red somewhere as well because the walls are red in that room!

For most of my art life, I have considered Quinachridone Burnt Orange the most beautiful color ever made. Nothing has changed my opinion since that discovery. No other burnt orange has ever come close.

I get a lot of supplies from non-art sources - thinking outside the box is so creative, and also a lot of the stuff is much cheaper. You find yourself going around asking "Could I make ART out of this?" My hubby usually replies with a resounding "No!" which I take as a challenge to prove him wrong!

I was up at 4 in the morning ,.pulling paper on my gelli plate , I guess I don't require much sleep in my old age ,but even when I was young I never slept much , I'm a do'er not a lazy person ....lol...much as a rule . When I was a little girl , I was always creating something, I used to my paper doll clothes with crayons and paper even my dolls come out of a catalog , I think it was a Sears catalog . Froyle did you ever make your own paper dolls ? Maybe I'm a lot older than you , but when I was little we were poor ,we had to make our own things , I even carved little cars out of wood for my step brother , and he still has them , he took them with him when he joined the Army , I love him dearly . Well I'm really loving this red collage , it's beautiful sweetheart , I'm still waiting on my journal , can't wait to start my journey . Your friend from Texas !

@@FroyleArt I would start with yellow ochre and gold with a touch of black or dark brown as contrast. Like the orange one add touches of the orange from one side of the color wheel and maybe a yellowish green from the other side. I have faith in you. Blessings

This will be a real challenge for me because orange was my abusive mother’s favorite color. This will,hopefully help me overcome my resistance to the color.

Tread carefully, just start with a little bit & lots of white, then see how you go. Or You could always blast the sucker with gold & show it who's boss! Ha! Cheers Froyle
