Be careful, Frozen. Some allergies have a cumulative effect. That is to say, every time you get exposed, the effects worsen. You said, "you never used to be allergic to bee stings." It might be that you are, and always have been, and that the effects are getting more and more pronounced with each sting. This is especially true with seafood or nut allergies. Reactions can become so severe that anaphylaxis may ensue. It might be a good idea to sit down with a medical professional once you get home. I'm not a doctor, but you're too far from an emergency room. Keep an eye on it.

Loving the videos. You should check out some old photos of trees on the east coast. The problem is. They cut down almost all of the trees on the east coast. There are a few left. Cathedral State Forest in West Virginia comes to mind.

Benadryl causes me a 72 hour hangover so I avoid taking it for anything. I do understand why you’re taking it. Just be aware that you, too, might experience exceptionally long Benadryl hangovers. Given that allergic reactions can worsen with future exposures to the same allergen, you might want to consider asking a healthcare provider about allergy shots and/or an epi pen.

You're likely tired because your body is reacting to the bee sting, and also the Benadryl. Hang in there!

benadryl is used in Tylenol PM. pretty sure that is what is making you feel so tired. A half of one knocks me out for hours.
@anninwhack19985 ай бұрын
Hey take care! You are probably drowsy bc you’re starting to relax after many days of strain from the heat and fires. Now things are mellowing out your body needs to rest. Be well!!!
@UnBoxItwithMaureen5 ай бұрын
Not sure if Benadryl non drowsy has the same properties or not but worth looking into so it doesn't tap your energy levels.

Sounds like a good lunch. That looks like smoke ithe distance. Get an older penny with copper in it and tape over sting. There's science to it. We can wait another day, your sleep is important!!

Oregon is such a mess, because of a huge ice storm we had in January. Our whole state was basically closed for a week or so, so sad to see the damage.
@maryhairy15 ай бұрын
Wow! Blisters allergic reaction to Benadryl which has got a histamine. Shouldn’t have done this! I can’t have in as it also causes me to sleep. Any bee sting just causes gigantic swelling on me. A week to up & down.
@Lukesway5 ай бұрын
Supposedly, copper will neutralize bee venom. Try taping a penny to the next sting that you get. I would use an older penny that was made with more copper than the newer Pennies. There is also a bee sting suction pump that I have seen at the local grocery stores.

I remember watching the Field Trip (a mom with four teens) hike Oregon. The mosquitoes were no joke north of Crater Lake. I saw a fire at Lemola Lake near a friends KOA, hopefully given the time between filming and release date, you're well north of that. I don't do well at all with Bee stings either 😢

What's going on with your leg is probably the "Dsney rash" it is a form of exercise induced vasculitis (EIV). It happens due to exertion in the heat.

Great content. Enjoying the amazing views. Please stay safe. Benadryl for sting reaction; itchy, trouble breathing, etc. Ibuprofen for swelling/pain. You may want switch to Claritin (non drowsy). Peace-

Did you know that the birds are thee only animal that sings first thing in the morning? This muct be a PCT thing. That bird sung a call and response, in the background while you were filming. And, I had to laugh as soon as I heard it, my response was "cheeeze burger" and then you said out loud, too! Cheese Burger. 😂 Thank you for sharing your journey with us as you put one foot in front of the other, repeat.
