That’s the most broken down Kobe persona in a nutshell… people labeled him as all these different things, but everybody he had problems with just didn’t work hard. Reminds me a little of Jimmy Butler if I could compare. People say he’s hard to work with also. NO, if you’re lazy then YES he is.

Kobe's mentality for most of some is not about winning you need Shaq or etch, it's all about mind set he had practice, I do believe jimmy butler a huge respect if Kobe saw him, you don't need to be the best ever to tell it but the mentality even the GOAT MJ never saying he was entitled to be best ever but Kobe and MJ for sure competing in their team in practice and game and they earned the respect alpha. that's the mentality

Bruh Shaq's body would hv crumbled. And in the same was Shaq had his size and speed, Kobe had his work ethic. They both had they own abilities. It's easy to say but how many people were really as dialled in and robotic as Kobe? Shaq not being like Kobe doesn't make him lazy. He maybe could have worked harder but lazy is a stretch.

Their r lazy people everywhere, and theirs people who gonna do what they suppose to do and no more. These guys getting paid millions, they don't have to b in the gym as much as u or work hard to reach their potential. As long as they showing up to games and coming to practice when coach says, that's their minimum. Everyone is not u, we all different.

Definitely not talking about Dwight’s “WORK ETHIC”. That dude works as hard as anybody. 20 years in the game and he’s still in peak conditioning. And Dwight has expanded his game. He was never going to be the offensive player Shaq or Olajuwon was. Dwight is and was a defender and rebounder at heart. He’s a suped-up version of Bill Russell or Dennis Rodman. But he was never going to be “The Best Ever”…. This applies to Shaq.

Kobe said that but there are two sides of everything. Shaq said it was misconstrued, Shaq had foot problems most don’t know about. Toe issues & had to wear special made shoes on those years so it’s easy for a smaller, lighter to think he could work through it but the reality is that’s 350 plus on those bones. As well Phil had him gain muscle & weight to dominate those bigs in the West at the time. I mean I get what Beam means but it’s not always so simple.
