omg... I've just made these. The. Best. Cookies. Ever !! CHewie and gooey and a crunchy top. Just a slight change. I used black cocoa. 🤤 You guys, you really need to try this recipe asap!
Those look amazing. The only change I might make is to add a little espresso powder to the dry ingredients. Definitely making these. Thank you, Sara Lynn!

I just made these cookies and they are delicious! I wasn’t sure how big to make them so I just tried to eyeball what you did. They came out slightly undercooked but still delicious. I did it in two batches. I covered the dough with a tea towel while the first batch was baking so the dough doesn’t dry out. I think it firmed up a bit. The first batch turned out prettier than the second batch. Next time I will use two pans and bake them all together. Lovely recipe. Taking them to work for my co-worker’s 😊

Can the dough be frozen before baking or after cookies have baked? This cookie is delicious! The first batch came out perfect. I was looking for less cracks than other brownie cookies, more meringue like, and that's what this cookie delivered. Thank you. This recipe is a keeper.

I have a question, would substituting the eggs for flax egg work in this recipe?
@thedomesticgeek12 жыл бұрын
To be honest, I haven’t tried it but I think it would. The only concern I would have is that you may not get the same crackle pattern on top, but if you don’t mind that, I think the cookies themselves would still taste AMAZING!

I have a question for a mom friend of mine her daughter is egg and milk intolerant, what could she use instead without chancing to much of the flavour of a cookie. I know regular cookies needs loads of butter and eggs… But I want to give this little girl a big box of homemade Christmas cookies as well as a token of love since her mommy and daddy are in middle of divorce… 💔

@thedomesticgeek12 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry to hear this ☹️ I’m not exactly sure what might have happened. One of the most important steps is to beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla for at least 3-5 minutes. That will help with the crinkle. Usually the crinkle takes place in the last few minutes of baking. I hope you’ll give them another try.
@susannay.34372 жыл бұрын
@@thedomesticgeek1 That's probably it. It was more like 2 1/2 minutes, literally. 🥲 Oh well, next time. 🙂
