Thanks Jules. FYI, my class keeps asking me for more combination videos with weights and resistance bands. They also like combination seating and standing next to chair videos . And we love the 45 minute videos too. Thank you for all that you do. My class loves the way you teach these exercises.

Great Workout Jules. Loved using the bands!!!I'd be lost without your chair videos for those of us that cannot stand for long periods of time. I definitely feel an improvement after 4 months and I enjoy your videos more than some others because you work with Seniors all the time and understand our challenges. Thank You

Thanks so much, Margaret. I appreciate your comment. I have to admit that working with seniors daily definitely opens my eyes to the challenges seniors face with exercising. There are so many different injuries to consider so when I create this videos I always think of the seniors I work with as I'm creating the workout. I'm happy to read it's noticeable:)

You said it (in between tricep kickbacks): "Good stuff!" Nice rotating in the resistance band and really appreciate the variety you incorporated, especially the lat raises.

Good evening Jules, I am recovering from a dislocated shoulder so this will help with my loss of range of motion. That right arm is pretty limited right now but slowly and surely it will be better. ÙI only go as far as I can without aggravating it. You always have the best instructions. Thanks

Tried this for the first time today. Really liked it! Just the right pace, amount and even stretches at the end. Really appreciate your videos. You are easy to follow, understand and have such a great mix of choices. I have been lacking on my ST lately and wanted to get into a longer video this time. Usually I am lazy with exercising, but having a goal to do 3 or more a week keeps me going. I think I like bands better than weights. Most of the time I do weights, even light ones, for some reason it irritates my shoulders and neck. Then I even end up with a headache! Keep up the good work! 🤩

That's strange about the weights and the headache (especially with light weights), but it's good for you to know what works and doesn't work well for you. I have been thinking about making more workouts soon with bands so I'm glad to know they'll work well for you. I'm glad to read that you have a goal with exercise...goals definitely make a difference in keeping us on track with exercise.

Good morning again Jules, I found this in your incredible library of videos and pulled out bands that I haven't used in forever and I am SO happy I this session 💓 Your voice and the pace of this exercises could not have been better for me. I didn't feel rushed AT ALL. The movements were very deliberate and I just feel so blessed that I found you. 💓🤗💓

Great wkout! Love your background beach. It makes a big difference. Prefer instructors who dont use music. That way we can decide what music we want or not. I find music distracting to my wkout...

Thank you for your feedback. I always find it difficult to decide whether or not to use music in the seated videos. I have some with, and others without. Feel free to mute me and put on music that you prefer since I realize the music I chose each time isn't going to suit everyone. Just to help you navigate the channel, I create 3 levels of workouts (gentle, beginner and intermediate) in both seated and standing workouts, and categorize them all into the playlists. Just look for 'playlists' on the main page and scroll down to where you see the seated options. I also started a second channel dedicated to chair workouts and will add the link for you here: youtube.com/@ImprovedHealthChairWorkouts I now upload all new seated workouts to the new channel. This was more difficult then I expected. Love the bands. Do you have video’s with the band for standing exercises? Because of my artrosis weight are painfull for my hands. I can tie the bands on my wrists. Thank you again for a great workout.

I had done a resistance band routine of yours that was shorter and it was wonderful. This one surprised me with all the unique ways in which that band can be used. Unfortunately, the band I had was a bit too resistant for some of the upper body moves because I have a bad right shoulder. I turned to water bottles for the front and lateral raises but did fine with the others, especially the 2 tricep moves . The lower body was perfect. I intend on purchasing a kinder resistance band, and will attempt the demanding upper body exercises again. I love how you instruct, Jules, as well as your excellently designed routines. I feel like SuperWoman now, but do anticipate a little soreness in some areas tomorrow. It will have all have been worth it!...Anastasia

Thanks for letting me know how the workout went. I have a shop on my website where I put links to items that I recommend. There is a pack of bands you could buy which comes with 3 bands (not the tubes, but the bands). Or, you can look at Amazon and read reviews on different ones. It’s definitely nice to have a variety of tension in the bands.

A lot of people prefer the 'no talking' videos so I try to put out both. With this type of class I do find instruction is necessary, though.

Those people that don’t like the talking please tell them to mute the sounds. I did your quiet video and reading the instruction kinda feels funny , no human voice. Just funny how it feels like cemetery, pantomining,lol

Hi Janet, you could do this workout every second day and complete cardio workouts the opposite days. It's a great workout for toning and working on strength.

I like this exercise, except my band is shorter than yours . I can see you’re taller than me and my band doesn’t have much more to work on. I chose the lighter band too. Oh well

Hi Carmen, you don’t need a long band like mine. As long as you can do the exercise with it, it is all good. I’m 5.4 and a half…not overly tall! As you continue this workout, you can switch to a tougher band when ready. Main thing is to really concentrate on squeezing/tightening the muscle each time.
