Hi Michael Another great video, this time about the importance of being ready to play the game. It’s also important that players fully understand WHY they need to do. In the past I’ve brought various objects to training just to reinforce the ‘message’ I’ve shown them a balloon before being inflated telling them that “this is where we all are to begin with... deflated and not functioning” Then I inflated it half way and told them that “this is after a few training sessions...beginning to take shape” Then I inflated it to its maximum and then told them “...and now you’re fully in shape...pumped up and if you’re let go you can soar as high as you want” And then I told them “ ...but be aware, if you do too much or let yourself go then.......” and I let the balloon go and all the air inside splutters out as the balloon flies in all directions. I’ve had ex-players come up to me and can STILL remember the balloon and have passed the tip onto to their kids. Knowing WHY before the WHAT and HOW is the easy way to get players to ‘buy into’ what you are trying to for them. That’s why I ask players what THEY want to achieve and the ‘art’ of coaching is to steer them towards what YOU would like them to do. 👍

Way to go!🤠 Also, in case you would like to do it, you will love to add ATG push ups, tibialis raise and KOT calf raises, the benefits and the burn you get from those it's insane! @7mlc Жыл бұрын
Hard to say without seeing the clubs from those respective leagues play against each other. However, If I had to venture a guess, I reckon CPL is comparable with the USL1 and perhaps some teams in the USL championship. I’m sure the competitiveness will continue to grow and attract more players as the league becomes more established 🤝
