@@AryanStapleton dadgum it, for saying that. If you dont keep going back to the basics then you're going to be in a world of hurt. Do you think 1 million subscribers want to or know to scroll through all the vids to find another foundational one. Do you know how many new and beginner subscribers this creator has? We all NEED foundational videos to keep popping up periodically, so that we can be reminded. And it also Really Waters it to hear it said a slightly different way For example, i* haven't seen any others. And this vid just changed my world. so, yes... there are other people than you, not to be mean. 🤑 Content Creator, keep on truckin', cuz this comment is cheap. Things don't have to be New -'cause there's nothing New. It just has to be for right Now.

It was 2020 in March that I found Strength Side on KZbin. Because the gym and swim shut down with Covid. I did not realize you had been on youtube for 8 years. But back then I went to yoga classes. Did my routine at the gym. And went length swimming. I was panic stricken with the closures. Was never good with home routines. But Strenth Side brought me outside and inside on my yoga mat and taught me strength without the gym and better than yoga stretches with strength at home. I felt renewed and was excited to do your follow alongs. I climbed a tree, walked over and along a log. Things I had not done since a kid. I started playing on the playground equipment in the park. I stretched muscles I had not stretched although I thought my body was stretched and limber. Heck now I even hang from doors...just hang. Of course you'd get a million followers. You showed us a new way. We just had to get out of the gym long enough to discover strength side. I went back to my gym when gyms opened. Got covid before a month was out doing the gym. Back to my outdoor and indoor Strength Side routine. And one more thing. You mentioned WimHof and I checked him out on youtube...way back in 2020. I started his breathwork cold showers and ice baths playing in the snow dipping in the cold creek all winter. Yep. You changed my life. I would not have been brave enough to dip in ice water outdoors if you had not taught me to workout and play outdoors. Thankyou. Thankyou thankyou.

I love how your teachings are for all ages . This routine is a 'human body'' routine meaning the difference between a 10 yr old and a 90 yr old would be simply the ease of doing. If stiffer/weaker/poor balance etc this is not just age related, it would be applicable to being overweight, to having not exercised or played for years, to being sensitive to something you are intaking that is irritating your body, to just a 'can't do it's mindset. Thank-you for your caring offer to us. Clearly a million followers means we are getting it. And then for those ready to advance movements you offer those also

A month ago my Blood pressure was hyper tension level 165/90...3 high readings in a week...doc wanted to start meds. Instead I proposed, I start walking every day, eating oatmeal, salads, and less sugar. Today, I stopped at the clinic and BP was 120/65. Yesterday 112/73...so I won't have to start taking medicine as long as I continue walking! Yaay! I can't wait to add this routine!

@fishstick4846 Жыл бұрын
You are so right about the little movements going a long way. I had to learn that the hard way after a Shoulder, and now a quadriceps injury. These sort of exercises are very important to tame imbalances. I see alot of strong people in my life injuring themselves because they're over working those already over worked muscles, while forgetting about these crucial ones involved in the basic movements such as these. Anyways, good luck on your journey and I hope you are still sticking to it!!

Swim coach here. Not only do I follow along and learn so much from your videos, I am able to take the knowledge and the information that I’ve gained from Strength Side and apply it to my athletes. Stretching, calisthenics, bodyweight work is called “dryland “in the world of swimming. There’s a positive effect on athletes that spend 30 to 40 minutes doing dryland and then getting in the pool after. So all the good stuff that your channel presents allows me spread the knowledge. Everyone is benefiting. Thank you!

Hi there, I have been following you from Holland for a couple of years now, my twenty year old son is a skater and I had him come over to my house to go thru your moves on my carpet, to teach him. He follows you too. I am a fifty year old woman and I currently follow your routines each morning. Your excellent slow and well scripted guidance together with your lovely deep voice, the passages from the books, and the amazing effect it has on my body! All make your channel most well loved and appreciated. When I tell my students I get up at five thirty each day before school to do stretching AND when they find out my age from their classmates they cannot believe it lol. Your routines are of very high quality. Next to that I do some qui gong, some Wim Hof style stuff and then a small number of push ups. In the summer I hike the Alps crossing about 100km per week, or walk on the rocks in Norway. It's a great life and you are part of it. Thank you very much!

Love it man. I was a gym bro who also sits at a desk and draws a lot. Then I hurt my shoulder, so I was trying to be good by just focusing on cardio. So I biked a lot. Too much. Sitting down and biking hard for an hour+, just to sit down and tap at a keyboard or lean forward to draw really created some imbalances that I'm working on fixing. Thanks for the routine, feels great!
