Have watched your videos since your series in Germany and I just want to say that you have developed so much through the years. Both as a content creator, but especially as a footballer in general. Theres a big difference watching you execute for an example the ”Dinho drill” now compared to doing it some years ago! Shows that work do pay off if you stick to it, believe in the grind! Matt I understand that this video is about you showing us what you eat. But I want to give you some tips that have work really good for me. I am currently doing some marathon training, ran my last one week ago in 3:27, and I am also burning tons of calories in a day. So I am more or less at the same situation that you are. Only thing I wanted to say is that you should consider taking your last meal 2o even 3 hours before going to bed. So you can have a better sleep. Thx for sharing this videos, really like your content :)

Gu7ller why is it bad to eat before bed ?
@alirez10006 жыл бұрын

Your body can only take so much protein in one go for it to be all used effectively, for someone your size over 45 grams is an excess which won’t be used, try it all in in smaller portions and have some before bed(that’s when protein synthesis occurs) also 275 grams is probably too much for your body to use you probably only need 3/4 of that.
@SoccerLemon6 жыл бұрын
considering all his training and workouts I say he needs the sustenance
@vegetaz15325 жыл бұрын
Your statements are complete broscience which has been debunked by many scientific articles and fitness experts. Meal timing is irrelevant. You don't need to eat protein before bed, nor do you need to limit each meal to 45g of protein. Many people have gotten ripped eating 2 meals a day. Look up intermittent fasting. The only true fact you stated was that 275g of protein is too much.
@860hurdles25 жыл бұрын
Con mon you call my arguments bad and go on to give anecdotal, isolated examples, empirical evidence shows spreading out meals and nutrients allows your body to better process them. Intermittent fasting doesn’t work for everybody and definitely isn’t the best for a high performance athlete; rather a bodybuilder.
@vegetaz15325 жыл бұрын
@@860hurdles2 Intermittent fasting is just an example I was using to show that people have built muscle without needing 6 meals a day and limiting protein per meal. Eating 150g of protein in 2 meals is not wasting protein. As long as you are hitting your macros at the end of the day, you will build muscle. All these little things that you are mentioning have little to no effect.
