Very nice plan you have going, I am doing something similar on my build but I am adding a chip and lights from Evan Designs for proper speed flashing beacons as well as disabled all the stock flashing by circumventing the PCBs built in hyper flash, I also omitted all power switches and everything will have 5V routed direct to each board with an external power switch.

i would really love to have the nerve to do a custom lighting kit for this. maybe in the future people will sell these for pennys and i will strip it down and mod properly with propper running lights and more detailing than i am doing, but at the moment, and the cost of the kit so far, im happy with just turning it on and it lighting up as intended. BTW, a display case is incoming. this will bring this up another level.

@@R_T_Ralph I am using 90% of the stock LEDs, just disabling the factory flashing, and adding my own as well as fully custom lighting the nacelles, some people are going full on and gutting everything which I do not have the wherewithal for at this time. Can't wait to see the rest of your build and the display case!

Nice job with re wiring it up like that,you obviously know ya stuff with electrics and lighting,are you taking out all the led lights in the saucer or just giving them more power so they light up brighter?

Looks like you matched the paint colour really well to cover the battery. What colours did you use???

i had to mix a light grey and a mid grey, and a lot of testing.

Very nice work - do you know the actual name of the circuit boards you use to distribute the power? For the life of me I can’t find the term to search for these on Amazon. Tried JST board, led board, to no avail.

they came with the enterprise kit. spare parts so i dont know there names

Instead of connectors that have to be pulled apart and pushed tigether, why not solder the wires to metal contacts that touch each other when the sections are put together?
