Oh i just 💘 this pattern. Im going to use hobby lobby metallic i love this yarn with a pinky toes flower and white granny rounds and another afghan with the granny rounds in white but alternate red and blue flowers. Thank you for walking us through your tutorials clearly and making it easy. 💘

I'm so glad you shared this. My mother used to crochet. She passed away 3 years ago. She had this very project started. I decided to learn to crochet since I inherited her yarn and crochet hooks. I haven't figured out how to make flowers on granny squares yet. I'm so excited to start these.

About how much yarn is it going to take to make one of these squares the size you just made?

That is a great question! I actually did not weight out my yarn or measure the amount I used. Though the square is small enough that if you would like to make one using the hook you want and yarn you have in mind that will give you a much better indicator than I could.
