That's great. Yeah football, breaking the block or tackle. It is hard to do when the aggressor is already low and committed. Thank you . Great content.

It's a pivot point. The control at the tricep prevents a pivot point. If you can learn to recognize how to prevent a pivot point at the contact point more generally, you automatically neutralize your opponent ability to change position (like going for the underhook, or pivoting to connect with an elbow for example). Good stuff. 😎

Love this channel... But 1:38.. A grappler/wrestler can't turn into a weak/unorthodox 2-on-1? Idk about that, but still looks better than the shoulder option. Also the bit at the end about committing to one or the other is solid

Curious why are you assuming the "grappler" is going for the weapon and not hand control first?
@DocLeon77

Maybe the grappler is going for the immediate deadly threat?

@@DocLeon77 - Control the hands control the threat, that is why I am wondering. Especially since wrestlers have hand control drilled into them.
@FunkerTactical

I am not assuming that. In fact, I will assume that a trained grappler ought to know better than to attempt to disarm a cop. Also, the concept works for stuffing hand/wrist control in pre-wrestling range. -GN

Relating to what specifically? Fabricating them? How to find them? Or bringing every day items along with you? Some professionals I know typically carry a flashlight and a pen with them at all times.

@@FunkerTactical I would suggest strategies for using what is available in the environment along with what may be allowed on an aircraft. Fire extinguishers come to mind.
