In the United States, depending on local laws, you can legally manufacture as many guns as you darn well please for personal use. It's only when you try selling them that the government gets involved, so... Also, black powder guns and "war loot" (fire arms brought back from war by soldiers) have special rules. As such, legally speaking, he might not actually need licenses for those guns in the US per say.

@samuelzuleger51342 жыл бұрын
@@johnmullholand2044 I did watch the video. What I am saying is that, here in the United States, most cops wouldn't care unless you were buying or selling the guns. Or using them illegally, of course. My point was the contradiction between British and US laws on firearms (especially local ones). I would also bet, based on his age and a few of the weapons depicted, that he "found" them on battlefields in Europe during or after WWII. My grandpa had a few guns that he brought back from the Korean War that would not exactly be legal to buy or sell in the US without special permitting, but he never bothers selling them so no one cares.

I have a strong working knowledge of German and Mandarin Chinese and have watched people from rural parts be just as incomprehensible to "city folk" as this scene portrays, and the same can be said for some parts of the rural United States.
