Update 3/13/2022 : • Fwd axle delete mod / ... /// \\\ Welded my front wheel drive differential in the 420a engine ( forward motor ) with a NV-T350 Manual Transmission . All weight reductions were good til the front engine started spinning around 550lbs . Now at 680lbs 4/30/2021 . Still need to fine tune , put same tires , etc . The Good : hooks great under power and drives well in straight to moderate turning . The Bad : can't make sharp turns , basically need three lanes to u-turn . What transmission oil do you use for the NV-T350 Manual Transmission in a 420a eclipse? Old forums say to use Mopar Atf4 but idk, Dealer cant confirm as their system only goes back to 2006 apparently.

Amsoil Synthetic Manual Synchromesh Transmission Fluid . This fluid is made for that transmission , even stating it on the back of it's bottle , with it's applications list . You can order direct from their website .

any handling improvements from this? I read an article that this actually works on the track, just DESTROYS tires.

If "track" you mean drag strip , then yeah works great . Or if you mean circuit , like F1 road coarse with turns , it should do fine but will wear tires at a faster rate depending on how tight the bends are .

You should drive with the " Axle Delete Mod " for daily : kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYaQhpJrnraYiLM And when you want to go to the track , pop in the other axle . Otherwise it's hard on cv joints , bearings , clutch , ect . But It is doable living in the right area and driving a certain way , if you don't do the " Axle Delete Mod " .
