all i know is the entire beauty community is on jeffree's side so be careful bish. you could have a screen recording of jeffree calling someone the n word as of yesterday and people would still make excuses. this is where we're at.. gotta give it to JS he is good at manipulating the masses when he's not saying women's vaginas stink, picking on small youtubers, being petty, calling people cunts and rats and otherwise being messy as hell at all times.

This is why I can’t take people seriously. If Jeffree STILL says derogatory racial slurs, why are yall waiting until now to call him out on it. Like Arnell has no reason to keep her mouth shut since she have no ties to Jeffree and her clap backs are A1. I love seeing her go in on Twitter. Seeing as how she didn’t speak up on Jeffree she has no right to defend Gabriel. Everyone always says, “there are snakes and I wish I could tell you guys the real tea,” Who’s stopping you. If you have receipts and people/brands know the real you, there should be no reason to stay silent. Speak your truth 🗣
@sabinaexy68606 жыл бұрын
Abena K. Well remember this is still their job. You don’t want to be known as the gossiper, or the trouble maker; it makes you look super unprofessional. It looks bad for the brand. Plus it’s not I doubt Arnell wants to get caught in that dumb ass drama.
@msjadzia19746 жыл бұрын
That's what I am saying. People want you to side with them but they stay silent af. Why should I believe you? Everyone wants to jump in staying we don't know x, y or z, but won't say what it is. If you won't say then continue to keep ya mouth shut and stay out the drama.
@abena28816 жыл бұрын
Sabina Exy I completely understand that but there is a difference between speaking your truth and being a gossiper. Also influencers always say, “they’re here for us,” then be here for us and tell us who’s being or is continuously being an ignorant bigot. By not saying anything until his (Jeffree’s) series came out they look upset and they’re enablers. And I’m sorry but Arnell should’ve kept her mouth shut if she didn’t want to be involved.

Vanessa Gonzalez nah, Jeffree has way more drive, he’s truly self made, he makes MASSIVE efforts on his videos, even if he doesn’t need it at all, as we saw. Manny barely makes videos, because he’s too busy, he says, but even if he does, it’s all PR stuff. Laura? Should we talk about Morphee? Seriously, there’s a reason why Jeffree is so rich, if you work in something business related, I’m sure you saw it during his video, yes he showed he had money, but never bragged about his businesses, it’s insane. The other gurus only enjoyed and profited from the boost, but didn’t make any original products, didn’t create anything new. it will blow up on their faces, not trying to be mean but they are very very easy to replace. JS is out there, he’s very original, funny and insanely different, i don’t know who could replace him, that’s the difference. I’m not even talking about his brand now, look on Influenster, his lipsticks are number 1, same for his lips scrubs, his highlighters and palettes are in the top 5 and 10 of those categories. I don’t see anything like that for Laura Lee, Manny Mua, they released enough already, they had the KZbin’s community’s support, and yet. How many BG promote or reviewed JS products? Yet he’s one of the most popular and liked brand out there?

WHAT does it mean when they say "I didnt use it in a racist way" omg the word itself is racist!! Black people have reclaimed it but for non black people to use it is racist!its the same way gay people call each other the f word, for them to use it, they're reclaiming it like???? I never get that excuse! I dont understand it
@tazhienunurbusinezz17036 жыл бұрын
V I Think Im Pregnant I never say that word. Wanna know why? Because I'm sick & tired of words that are purely designed to be destructive to the group it's used against, being used everywhere. I happily say fuck & shit all the damn time. I do not say words that are used to bring down any race, any sexuality, any gender or any religion. "Reclaiming" those words makes their use not stand out. If they don't stand out, it makes the people who use them negatively blend in instead of standing out like they should. If they stand out, they can more easily be called out. That's where I'm coming from. Have a great day!

Same with women saying 'bitch'. If a dude says it, its nasty, but women are free to do so. (And gay men tbh)

I enjoy how he said he apologizes to the people it offended. Not white people, not Asians, native Americans, etc., but black people, the ones who are actually offended. Other races like to act as if they can accept our apology for us when that isn’t how it works and it sounds as if he is specifically apologizing to black people.
@yarigranados6 жыл бұрын
Didn’t Gabriel say in an apology statement that Manny, Laura, & Nikita did not approve/were not aware that he would be posting that picture with that caption? Yet the screenshot you have shows both Manny & Nikita liked his post? Wouldn’t they have just told him to take it down or change the caption? If you covered this I’m sorry, I paused @ 0:24 to write this because I am genuinely confused on how if they were not aware, they liked the post with that caption. Edit: damn. It took Gabriel this long to “be strong” and attack Jeffrey when he’s seen positively now. He’s acting out for the clout. Poor him dragged Laura & Nikita into this. Honestly, he’s acting very hypocritical: he believes he can change (& probably Laura & Nikita), but not Jeffree?? Also his reposted “apology” makes it seem like he wants people to feel bad for him. You caused this for yourself sweetie.
@elizabethc76966 жыл бұрын

@@sarahleebeauty6761 exactly my thought. Manny still praises Jeffree, too, even though they arent friends. I think its easy to paint Jeffree as the villain since he lashes out so much, but i have a hard time believe he's a raging racist when he features poc in his campaigns, defends a woc brand's concept after being stolen, addresses shade ranges, ect. He doesn't need the clout from it. He's already extremely successful. If everything went up in flames today he would still be set for life.
@Brittany-896 жыл бұрын
@V I Think Im Pregnant I'm saying he doesn't need to and he would still be successful. I understand that's is all a business move but I do believe he cares. At the end of the day none of us know him personally so we will never know if that is actually true.

@V I Think Im Pregnant my point for the original comment was that Gabbie said he's still a racist but Manny has publically said many times that Jeffree is not. I'm not saying who I believe. I literally only said they have two very different views of his racism and its interesting. Manny was friends with Jeffree the longest while out of this group Gabbie from friends with him the shortest. I liked Gabbies original tweets of him explaining how he felt about Jeffree, but it is very different that what Manny has said in the past

@Jo_Josuke6 жыл бұрын
Jessica Jessica being a business man and being manipulative is just two sides of the same coin. To me jeff seems to be alright this time around; his video really shed some light on who he was and what he regrets. it's a good idea for anyone to expose their own flaws and mistakes so no one can twist it around because you already proved it. big power move there. look what happened to the other 4; people uncovered their twitter post and then they try to hide. last time I check that's what prey does when its scared lol. if you don't like jeff, that's perfectly fine, but which out of his and Gabriel's position would you want to be in? I'd be the manipulative businessman, because whew, those 4 are just as worse, except with less money and no spine.
@jessicajessica6956 жыл бұрын
Berleezy's Back I’d be neither lol but see your point. Idk Gabriel or the other person in the group of 4, not a fan of Laura and never watch manny so I’m not siding with anyone here. And if you’re referring to the video of Shane’s that she’s light on JS and his regrets..I didn’t watch it..thought about it tho cuz I think Shane is a great guy!

Why do all these beauty youtubers who use/ have used this word claim to “not know” what it means? If you ever have been in a history class or even know the basic background of the US, you WOULD know what that word means and how it was used in the past and should be able to be smart enough to connect the dots to not use that word. Imma be honest and say that i use the word alot in vocabulary, mainly with close friends though. The area where I was raised are predominately black, most of my friends were either black or Hispanic. I have never ever came across a person who fell directly on offended by my use of the word. When I questioned my friends and asked why they don’t feel offended by the use of the word in general, they stated that they didn’t feel offended because in this day and age the black community has change the meaning of the word into something else entirely. I’m not say this to excuse anyone’s behavior or past actions. Its just my experience

Kery Martinez same here I’m 23 now and still use the N word in texts with my close family and friends Especially when singing along to songs.I’m Mexican the school that I went to had only Hispanics and whites, hardly any black people attended so everyone felt comfortable calling one another the N word .

I totally agree with you! It’s all about the context it’s used in. However back in 2012 I don’t think it was quite the same, I feel as if it were still seen as more derogatory back then and Laura and Gabriel were old enough so their excuses are irrelevant

He pops off at the mouth real quick but he’s a hypocrite... I’m not the hugest fan of JS.. I don’t hate him but I am subbed to him and enjoy him a lot more than Manny or Laura. The thing I don’t like about JS and wanted to see in Shane’s videos is not just him spilling tea but I thought he would have admitted to and aired out his own laundry bc he’s not innocent in all of this. As for the comment about those 4 doing better without JS, of course they are. They got what they wanted from JS and launched their “makeup lines” so of course they’re ok without him which I find to be really fucked up.

I thought we all knew Shane chose to show JS under a positive light and omitted any truly negative aspects of his personality.
@Selene6666 жыл бұрын
The thing is, we don't know any of these people in person. Shane may be an angel, or not. We only know what we see on social media, and a lot of that is the glorified version of themselves. Putting that aside, JS would never allow Shane to do this if it showed him under a negative light. Imo JS spoke only about the things he could present in a way that would make him look good. E.g. he avoided addressing the racist comments he's made towards black women in the past 4-5 years. Also, he somehow forgot to talk about all the drama and feuds he has started with his petty behaviour. So, even if Shane didn't willfully omit the truth, as it was obvious he was scared of JS (since he's proven he can destroy people's careers and is all about vengeance), he probably played it as safe as possible. Maybe he had even sent JS a script that had to be approved by him before they filmed.
