Welcome to Episode 3 of our 6-part Galápagos Vlog series with Celebrity Cruises. This episode covers Elizabeth Bay and Tagus Cove, Isabela Island.
At Elizabeth Bay and Tagus Cove on Isabela Island, spotted sea lions, sea turtles, Galápagos penguins, marine iguanas, sally lightfoot crabs, and blue-footed boobies.

Quito, Ecuador (where we spent 4 days exploring exploring Independence Plaza, the Archbishop’s Palace, Guggua Pichincha mountain, Itchimbia Park, La Compania Church, Church of St Francis, Botanical Gardens, and Intiñan - the Middle of the World park);
Egas Port, Santiago Island and Rabida Island (where we saw sea lions, iguanas, pelicans, flamingos and sally lightfoot crabs);
Elizabeth Bay and Tagus Cove, Isabela Island (where we saw sea lions, sea turtles, Galápagos penguins, marine iguanas, sally lightfoot crabs and blue-footed boobies);
Sullivan Bay, Santiago Island and Bartolome Island (where we saw blue-footed boobies, sally lightfoot crabs, Galapagos penguins, and sea lions);
Las Bachas, Santa Cruz Island and North Seymour Island (where we saw swallow-tailed gulls, frigate birds, sea lions, and went snorkeling, seeing sally lightfoot crabs, a variety of fish, and sea turtles);
Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, San Cristóbal Island (where we toured a turtle breeding center, and had an evening sail by Kicker Rock);
Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island (where we toured Charles Darwin Station, a Giant Tortoise Breeding Center, attended a cultural show, and participated in a Scalesia tree reforestation project).

Great video, Bob, brings back great memories of our Galapagos trip in 2022, I snorkled every day and we did the zodiacs in the afternoon and had such a great time.

Elizabeth island reminded me of our mangroves at Garden island with in Port Adelaide. I like the geological aspect of the bay. Another interest destination to visit

Beautiful, as always. We toured Tagus Cove by zodiac on our 2018 trip (Celebrity Xpedition). Most memorable, a school (right word?) of small bright yellow rays - and blue-footed boobies, of course. Particularly like the way your camera work caught the layers of rock (lava?) where the sea has eroded the land. The light was different when we were there (May).

A big day of zodiac cruising. Are the zodiacs terribly uncomfortable? Don’t know how I would do in them with my low back issues. But they do get you up close and personal.

It was entirely zodiacs, that's true. They aren't uncomfortable, and with Seabourn in Antarctica, we got used to them. Here in Galápagos, there was a bit more throtle used, lol - and I don't know if someone with back probs would do well if the sea wasn't calm. Thannk you for watching and commenting!
