to me, there was an entire Dynamic Shift in Arin...most comedy duos have the "color man" and the "straight man" (take the classic pair Abbot and Costello-- Lou Costello was always getting into some kind of mischief, and Bud Abbot would try to be the 'voice of reason')...i think that Arin was more of the Straightman back in the early days, where Jon was always making voices or reacting loudly at something...but nowadays, Danny has "out-straight-ed" Arin, so Arin is the one being loud or using some kind of voice, while Dan is kinda just there to vibe... either way, id like JonTron to appear on a GuestGrumps, at least...i can see the intro now: "HEY IM GRUMP! This game was an integral part of my childhood but it took me 3 months to beat it, start to finish. 2 months was spent playing other games and trying to learn how to beat the whale. Why was I having trouble? The game fucking glitched and the whale would never get stopped by the fucking gate. 7 year old me was pissed.

9:11 Yes sonic has been seen without shoes before...its jarring whenever it happens cause its so rare-mind you not in the games directly but still. Sonic adventure art is the closest we have gotten and they are literally blobs-circles-thats it-they used something similar for sonic x as well. Adventures of sonic the hedgehog had a toon 3 toed design but for some weird reason had them skin tone which makes him look like he is wearing leggings or pajamas. Satam had a 3 toed toon design but kept them blue. The comics have different versions to a flipper 3 toed design almost like a mix of a paw and kangeroo feet-and there were times he had a five toed design (particularly an issue where him and tails went to school and there was an earthquake-you also saw tails barefoot with a five toed design as well). PS on this-this might not count but tracey yardley has been asked to draw characters barefoot and usually uses a 4 toed design. Sonic underground used a 5 toed design and also manic and sonia go barefoot as well. Which its strange-sonic and manic have bigger toon sized deal while sonias are smaller and slick and closer to realistic...which is odd considering they are all the same family and species. Sonic boom for a milisecond had sticks barefoot and looked like a blob but with lines to make them like paws at least. And the recent Sonic film had him with socks but slightly barefoot with blue fur with tan spots but explicitly shows with a scanner they are 5 toed. Soooooooo yeah sonic has had a strange history with what goes on underneath those red sneaks. Journalists weirdly got obsessed about sonics feet asking why only eggman is barefoot in the recent olympic games switch deal-of the sonic characters while mario characters are all barefoot with Sega acting like its a rule because you wouldnt want to see that and that especially sonics would be really bad-im more guessing they dont want to give certain people fetish fuel in either direction or are afraid of backlash because of being able to pick early on whether he would have paws or toon feet or human feet or whatever. Although honestly i would have to go with human style feet-4 or 5 toed depending on the amount of fingers in the design as some have 4 fingers and most have 5 and they look like human hands from the outset so safe to say-they would be human style feet-its the only thing that would make sense honestly even if it looks off if not in the right art style cause i get in 2D it doesnt look too off-in 3D-depending on how its done...can be...uncanny to say the least. I mean what i can i say i am a sonic fan and have shittons of knowledge of the series and something this specific that has aloofed people for years is bound to be taken notice of at some point the weird history of certain particulars and details that rarely get shared.

Ive been a sonic fan since i was small-watching cartoons-reading comics-playing the games-and around 2004-2009 with the age of the internet truly growing i looked up everything i couldnt get my hands on-seeimg some things i didnt expect in great ways like the original subbed version of sonic x-to...shit i probably shouldn't have seen at such a young age. I guess that what happens when you are a kid during the Internets growing golden age where youtube was just starting to become a thing while new grounds was still the top dog at the time. I know obscure sonic shit like you wouldnt believe-having the internet made me realize i didnt need dvds or even official stuff to get a sonic fix-especially thanks to newgrounds. Nowadays im more of a cautious fan but back in the day it was my favorite franchise-and before the internet for me-it sucked trying to get sonic merchandise because it was before his rise again in the 2010s but after his first rise in the 90s...my kid self grew up in the wrong age for sonic merchandise-except for dvds cause sonic x dvds were coming out like mad-Satam got released on dvd (and nowadays its a bitch to find) and sonic underground i only got on dvd thanks to frys electronics (also thanks to frys electronics i even got that OVA film on dvd). I know dvds existed of adventures of sonic the hedgehog...didnt care for it ever since i was little-its always been the worst one for me-if i ever watched it i borrowed dvds from a relative or something. But yeah...this comment only took a few minutes cause ive been a sonic fan for years and this detail was something that always threw me for a loop cause i noticed it was something that didn't happen often-honestly with many pieces of media i was always that weird fucking kid that would notice weird details that noone else would notice.

The series in total was just over 10 hours. The fact that 6.5 hours of the series is considered best of speaks volumes about the chemistry Jon and Arin had. I think Danny was better for Arin as a whole but Jon had a specific humor that blended with Arin’s back then.
