I think maester Aemon when he says "a giant has come among us" he's saying that Tyrion is a head above most of the watch in terms of intelligence. It's a compliment disguised as a joke he knows the rest won't get.

Small and late take on Tyrion: sometimes it felt book Tyrion was hiding his extreme pain with the class clown trope. The class clown that is the loudest and, sometimes, most charismatically charming/physically entertaining in the class room but also suffering the most with their home life, family, etc. Then you have TV Tyrion who, in my opinion, Peter Dinklage does a great job portraying but for obvious reasons doesn't want to do some of the things that may make him feel humiliated if I am to assume. Or sometimes perhaps he isn't realistically able, such as doing acrobatic front flips. So TV Tyrion loses a bit of that joyous physicality to his humor and in its place only sharp bitter cutting wit remains. To me it's just another layer of difference between the two Tyrion's which I am sure you've talked about in great detail further in the series. Thank you for this series of videos Alt. my weekend has been fabulous having found this treasure trove.

Ack! I'm late! Damn these night classes of mine. Not sure what you enjoy baking most, but around Easter, I do spring tea parties. I've gotten fairly good at Shortbread, but what is a favorite of yours to pair with tea?

Kasstle, baking is my job, I love it but I don't get to choose what I bake. To pair with tea I really like cookies, sometimes little tarts. It's fall down here, so walnut tart (or kuchen) is a great idea, as walnuts are as fresh as they can be :)

I think it goes ‘I brought a honeycomb and jackass into a brothel, the desk woman asked why I had a honeycomb and a jackass, and so I explained that I found a magic lamp with a genie inside that granted me three wishes, so I brought the lamp and told my wife, who asked that I first wish for a house that could fit hundreds, and so I did, and the genie gave me a honeycomb, the wife proceeded to demand that I wish for a steed to ride upon, and so I did, in response the genie gave me a jackass, ‘And what of the third wish’ the woman asked, and I told her that my wife’s third wish was for me to have a long penis, ‘did it work?’ The woman inquired, so I responded, ‘how are you kidding?? I used to be 6”3!’
