I always thought it was just trauma keeping the tower memory at bay. I thought Bloodraven just pushed the memory further back while Bran was having his dream-vision-quest thing because Bran was getting distracted. Like, it just started resurfacing in that blurry, not-quite-right way that Bran always gets, and Brynden just went "ffs not now dude I'm trying to show you my treemagic pay attention".

@@CommodoreGrayum He’s mostly just making an observation that taking a child to see people be beheaded by his dad is ok, but bragging about sex is too far. He’s absolutely not saying that either are ok, and his point about the wildlings is that they’re facing an existential crisis. They literally befriend one of the group that held Bran hostage. I don’t consider myself a liberal, but George certainly is and it shows in his writing. The others are literally an allegory for climate change and pollution, something that can’t be solved unless people work together.

I hate to be "that guy" but I've been listening to you since your r+l=j video. I've noticed your forays into the political sphere with some minor/tongue-in-cheek quips and turns of phrase. I ask that you please cut down on it. It started slowly in this series and almost every episode now, multiple times, you make reference to what I imagine is your political opinions as "tangentially related" to asoiaf. I realize ASoIaF is pretty much only political, but at least it's politics in a fictional sphere. Applying contemporary views to a fictional feudalistic world not only misses the mark every time you try, it just comes off as cringey. This is my one and only criticism. Other than this, keep up the good work!
