It's been a while since I talked about Legend of Zelda, and since Nintendo released a teaser trailer for Breath of The Wild 2, I figured it was about time we revisited the franchise. I've talked a LOT about this world, its timelines, and pretty much every version of Link there is - so what's left? Well Theorists, today we are doing some heavy lifting and figuring out just how strong our hero Link REALLY is!

According to my (very rough and probably wrong) calculations, estimating starting conditions of- 200 meter throw height, 0.75 seconds to reach max throw height 0.2 acceleration period where he holds onto the pillar mass of the pillar given in the video I estimate that the force he is applying over that 0.2 second period is 1.6 billion N or 37 million lbs. I may have gotten some conditions incorrect or something but overall I would say somewhere in the ballpark of this range. EDIT: I forgot to factor in gravity into my calculation, so the true force that he would be applying would be the force I said above added to the force of gravity acting on that pillar, making it even more than what I said.

@@jimmybowman6294 As we see in Milky Way Wishes (same game the planet splitting feat comes from) Popstar is the largest planet in the kirby universe, and is even larger than it's own sun, however this all means nothing as the sun and moon could be the two boss enemies from earlier games, however, in Milky Way Wishes one could argue that there's a bit of perspective trickery going on, as you can see kirby huge in comparison to Popstar when in Megaton Punch he isn't even visible on the surface. Basically the math at absolute minimum would be like Kirby compared to the sun compared to Popstar which would probably yield an insane amount of force. But that's not even his best feat, his best is definitely the "World Crisis" in star allies, where he bats an insanely large meteor 9999 lightyears and smashes it through multiple celestial bodies along the way, all in about 5-10 seconds.

enchanted golden apples consist of 8 gold blocks in the past, and a single apple, making one, which means 1 enchanted golden apple will weight 154560.8 kg, which is 267081062.4kg per shulker box due to the fact that there is 27 slot and 64 enchanted golden apple per slot, adding up to 267081062.4kg, then an inventory can hold 36 items but because of the off hand that increases to 37, which is 9881999308.8kg for 37 shulker filled to the brim with enchanted golden apples, since the enchanted golden apple recipe have been remove, it means nothing, because it still consist of the same things even tho the recipe is removed because when you craft it before 1.9 and then bring it to 1.9 and after wheere there is shulker box, you spent the same amount of gold, so steve can hold 9881999308.8kg, which is 10 billion kg if you round it off and 9.88 Mega tons.

@NomekopLightspeed
@NomekopLightspeed 4 жыл бұрын
Well, adding the Skulker boxes to the equation would probably decrease the weight from a block of gold, due to likely being multidimensional in nature, and thus, shunting it's mass into another dimension, making it less affected by gravity. (Plus this fits with Skulkers projectiles). Plus, all item entities in Minecraft float in water, meaning they have a density lighter than water. Yes, even the blocks of gold. This is something intrinsic to the world, not just Steve, as TNT, Creepers, and other explosions, will also result in blocks being turned into item entities.

What about Scribblenauts Maxwell. You can add the adjective "carryable" to anything and he can carry it even building larger then him, he can carry mythical creatures, he can carry planets, under his arm. whilst having a giant backpack full of people on his back, and if you add the adjective ridable to him people can sit on him, with all of it being heavy metals even if he can one thing in his hands at a time, he is undoubtedly the strongest video game character, but he's also a child, but you can change him to a baby. You also have to consider friction resistance because the floor the blocks are being pushed/pulled along are often made of stone as well. That makes it even considerably harder,so hes even stronger than that, not to mention it has to be relatively easy for him since he can essentially move them as much as needed with no signs of fatigue.

DirtyDoge young link wears the bracelet which doubles his arm strength throughout his adventures before becoming a adult. I assume adult link doesn’t have the goron bracelet in the future because it rusted away into dust, I’m not sure what kind of metal would rust away like that in 7 years but it’s like magic and what not lol

Let’s not forget that Link in Breath of the Wild can be pummeled by several ton boulders thrown by a Stone Talus and still be intact even if it kills him, despite the fact that a normal human would be squished beyond recognition in that situation.

I did some quick math with the Kratos temple-flipping scene. Now, I could be wrong, but I found out that he was flipping a temple that is about 592,339.48 kg, or 1,305,885.01 lbs, or 652.94 tons. This is really close to the golden gauntlet deadlift, and he was an old man using his bare hands

Hey Matt, just a fun little tip from the agricultural field. Modern train cars can usually hold between 195,000 and 223,000 pounds of grain. Including the car's weight, a full train car weighs about 250,000 pounds. This means Link can deadlift about 6.28 fully loaded train cars.

Not much math required here. Just basic physics concepts to apply. Force (F) = Normal force (N) x the coefficient of friction (μ). N = mass (M) x gravity (g). M = volume (V) x density (p) The coefficient of friction is the proportion of F/N. It gets slightly more tricky when on a slope or calculating work to push a load for a distance. Here, he's only calculating the force to overcome the static force of friction for an instant.
