On a AC front, why not more LFM, just dipped my toe and after an initial start up confusion I am scratching my head as to why it's not more popular. MX5 race then a Nissan GT3, totally different, very interesting. And now I have a third race option around Le Mans. Ps AC is slightly convoluted to get setup sweet with your system, as is all the Sims worth bothering with. Head scratching over I guess. A recent new PC build has reminded me of this.

where's the ac community streams? yer know im debating people in the sim racing sub reddit on AC having the most realistic handling despite have an older and more simplistic physics engine and tire model. basically rewording your points lol need to listen to your opinions where i disagree with 90% of any thing that isn't sim/gaming related while i embarrass my self on track driving cars that only the bald can handle

@Virtual_Avatar_Heroes I don't own a DD wheel, I have a G29 but try WheelChecker and import the LUT into AC. It cleans up the force feedback really well, but I'm not sure for DD

I have no life but thanks for the tips about turning up damping, I was struggling with that exact problem in TDU SC with the wheel feeling springy, trying to return to center instead of resisting further input. I had learned to avoid damper on older gear and belt wheels so I'm keen to give this a go.

Hello, thanks for this, you're the first guy I have found that talks about Kerb, Road, and Slip. I know their low settings, but I never found any video that went in depth. Your channel makes me happy. You're good at delivering information in a happy way. Keep it up mate. I run mine much higher, 60- and 70's % on most. I didn't know CM had a wheel setting for Nmeters. Gonna check mine too.! R9 with CS R2 wheel, and Ghost pedals. Cheers

Thanks GM. I've put a link to this on my Hinge profile. Just waiting for all the matches to kick in now. I did find it useful. I've never really addressed AC FFB settings other than to turn on that automatic FFB thing. I will give it a go and see whether I can recognise why you love it so damn much.

Finally I got aroung to test it. My setting were very similar which I got it following Aris ACC FFB advise video. I don't like your 250% Natural inertia which make it feel turn with the tyre in deep mud, 100 or 150% feel better for me :) but is subjective. I stick with my opinion which I belive ACC has a far superior FFB then AC plus I use it more often so I'm more use to it as well. Anyway thank you to taking the time to share and now I have a dedicated setting for AC which is sligthly better then before.

thanks for the post, going to try your settings now. hade a hard time with the me vs wheel ffb fighting in asseto and sure it was fun but i could not drive the car
@travnewmatic3 ай бұрын
I think a lot of it comes from time spent with the wheel (the R12 is a wonderful piece of kit). Especially in assetto cora. Ive gotten a lot satisfaction from making tweaks as i put a handful of laps in, making it how i like it. Also adjusting the brake curve so im less likely to lock the wheels going from a long straight into a slow hairpin. Practice laps plus little chages are definitely part of the fun of making the setup 'your own'.

The fast snap back that you get on high-end DD wheel, is what I can't tame. Some sim racing game like raceroom or the advance physics cars mods that you find on asseto corsa address this problem directly in the ffb signal.
@GamerMuscleVideos4 ай бұрын
Yep the problem is if you use damper or software inertia it then removes detail from tire slip in other situations. If you use wheel rotation speed limit it then affects wheel speed for when you would actually want fast rotation. I think using the settings in pit house i suggest in this video seem to generally work the best all around for detail and not overactive wheel movements. The only downside I have found is specific tank slappers on the second slide it can be hard to get the timing right to catch it but everything else all works naturally and smooth.

Hi GM, like your videos, it nice to know I'm not the only silly bugger that wastes time on sim racing and actually gets no where. Can you do a video on setting up pedals in AC and Moza software, so many sliders don't know what half of them do. Geriatric useless sim waster from the bottom of the world. Greetings from New Zealand. Maybe I have to invert everything.🤣

on a r5, should i use 100% wheel speed or 200%? do I lose detail by going over 100%.
@christhedev8762 ай бұрын
I got an R5 I run my wheel speed at 25-30% I try to match the wheel speed I see in my RL car. 100% already fast, can't imagine 200%. So yeah don't go over 100% you could even try lower speeds see how it feels.
