I'm pretty sure the "tilt" of the guns while crouched is something that they just grabbed from Titanfall, where most of the time you're "crouched" is when sliding and then it kinda makes more sense, then it got put into other games just as maybe a stylistic choice or as a way for your gun to tell you if you're crouched or standing.
@TeeBeeOhh2 жыл бұрын
It's also a hood indicator to see that you are in fact crouching, which makes sense for a game like titanfall where you go in and out of crouch rapidly for movement.
@sirrenoko52452 жыл бұрын

@DamienDarksideBlog2 жыл бұрын
Yeah for me it is a visual cue of your stance or way to use the weapon that is clearly different than just "ADS". I haven't played this game, so I assume that when it went "gangster" it meant you were bracing it to "tighten the hipfire crosshair" which would be great for a zombie game. Kind of like in games where you don't completely ADS, but you do that "slightly zoomed in with tighter crosshairs" mode. EDIT: Watched the M9 clip again, it definitely tightens your hipfire spread. It is WAY easier to show the player a tilted weapon over an icon or "Fallout 3 zoom" and tell the player they can magdump into a crowd.
@playlistanonymous54142 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I prefer it like this over having a little icon on screen telling you you're crouched. Far Cry 2 did it as well, just not tilting the gun, more having a lowered profile. It's smart design that doesn't clutter the HUD.

In a magazine competition cycling through 7 mags, each with 2 bullets hitting within the 9-target at 15 meters, I averaged at 3 seconds per complete reload from tactical west and a total time of 27 seconds, hitting all 14 shots. As far as I could see, every weapon has a full mag when reloading on empty. Its most noticeable on the M95, but the Desert Eagle also is easy to see that with. It really annoys me considering video games have had empty mags visible for a long time now. I get if the devs didn't wanna do different animations for empty mags vs mags with rounds, but at least don't let the rounds be visible in an empty one

So quick thing about the M1A sight rail. I’ve had one in the past with a rail like that. It’s not attached to the top of the handguard. The handguard actually has a cutout in it and the rail attaches directly to the barrel so you won’t lose zero.

Another thing about blood on the weapon - it starts off wet and film-y, which is easy to clean off, but with time and/or heat (such as the pressure-baring parts of a weapon under heavy use) - it will sinter and coagulate on the surface very quickly. When also combined with other viscera, you've got a recipe for making your gun only good as a barbecue.

Part of the reason for the tilt I would assume is to give the player more view space when they are crouched. I feel like when a player is standing and you can see the arms grabbing the gun you have your feet underneath you which is fine; however when you crouch, the ground 'moves up' on your screen and your view gets *slightly* lessened with the gun taking up a good chunk of the right side. They could also just like the look of the 'McMillan Tilt' pistol hold and moved it over to rifles as well.

Jonathan needs to do the weapons in the Code of Honor trilogy, about the French Foreign Legion. This must be done in three separate videos, as the modelling changes between games (and some are really well-made and detailed). Jonathan also needs to see the guns in House of Ashes. I believe the gameplay reason the character “gangster holds” the weapons is to let the player know they’re crouching. The first time I saw it was within Titanfall 2, which lets you enable crouch in the air which isn’t typical. The way games normally let you know you’re crouching through just lowering the camera doesn’t really work when you’re in the air, so they added an animation of the character tilting their weapon that will make sure the player knows they have enabled crouch regardless of if they’re in the air or on the ground.

For the AA12, the way I use it in game at least- is I tap fire it for semi automatic for a majority of the time due to the way ammo economy works.
