02:37 🤸♂ Pigeon stretch is an effective dynamic stretch to improve hip flexibility, important for wrestling mobility. 04:18 💪 Kneeling thoracic extensions and half-kneeling windmills help improve lat mobility for better wrestling performance. 06:55 🦵 Couch stretch is essential to strengthen and mobilize the hips, crucial for maintaining knee health and escaping from defensive positions. 09:16 🩰 Hip 90/90 drill and squatting internal rotation exercises enhance hip strength and mobility, making wrestling moves more effective. Consistent mobility exercises can help wrestlers be more agile, flexible, and less prone to injuries.

My son is about to enter into his freshman year of high school wrestling. He last wrestled 5 years ago as a 4th grader. He is now 6'1" at 14 and I am so happy I found your site!! He has been working out with the cross country team this fall since I am the assistant coach and in his first open mat last night his cardio strength paid off. I am so stoked to see these exercises on here to help guide him into this new territory!! Thanks 😊

I've been doing the Couch stretch 2 days a week, 3 x 90 seconds per side and have made significant mobility gains in a short time. 3 x 15 seconds seems much to short for any type of deep stretch. I like the exercise selection though.

Great stuff as always man! As an MA nerd who sees wrestling as the purest, most primordial, martial art and form of ritualized combat, and also the most ubiquitous among human cultures, I find a lot of gold in your tutorials. I have a BS in PE with a specialty in sports in exercise science and find your principles intelligent and sound yet very creative. Thanks coach!

Good stuff here. These movements are also very helpful to build mobility for CrossFit. I never considered that wrestlers are so internationally rotated that a proper rack position becomes a challenge.
