I feel like Kevin & Dave entirely switched characters in the skit where Kevin plays the character Dean and goes to prison, if you've ever seen it. Like there's definitely some subtle nuance or meta that seems to exist off camera & paper with swapping out little intrinsic details that are exclusive to each cast member & embody their presence, to where you pick up on it.
