I know you sometimes think twice about showing food prep on Garden Answer ~ but in my mind it fits perfectly. Showing how you make simple, wholesome, and delicious meals using the bounty from your harvest is the icing on the cake. Love seeing the little one learning skills right along side you. Keep doing what you are doing. So inspiring in so many ways. 🌱💝🫶🏼

You know, I remember your recent shopping trip when you found a picture and a frame that you loved together… What do you think about finding your favorite focal point on your property and taking a photo of it when it is snow-covered like this!? You can always find a frame that you love! And it’s very easy to upload photos to a Walmart or CVS… Think about it! This is absolutely stunning! I think this would be something that is more priceless to you than anything else hanging on the wall that you purchased at a store.

Hi you’re a pro in the Garden :) and I’m kinda a pro with croup and or breathing issues. If you or your family have the breathing issues again bundle them up (don’t over do bundling them up and go outside. If it’s summer head in the freezer it is. The cold air makes the bronchi go down thus breathing is much better. I don’t know how many hours I’ve sat in a chair outside with a child on my lap. 2 of my kids were really bad when they were babies all the way to this present day. My son would take his self outside or tell me we have to go outside cuz he can’t breathe. I’ve passed it on to others and it’s helped their family member too.

🚫🫒I have cooked with Olive Oil for YEARS, until now. My daughter is going to culinary school and has learned that olive oil is to be used ONLY at low temperatures. High temps start to degrade olive oil and potentially creates health harming compounds. So now I have started using Avocado Oil for high temp cooking it has a smoke point of 500 degrees Fahrenheit and has lots of vitamins! Thanks for teaching me so much about gardening!!!💚💚💚

I can’t wait to see the Lisianthus come up this spring! That champagne color is my favorite. ❤ This was the first year I used the vermiculite topper on my seeds and I have had excellent results so far. Absolutely zero dampening off on my seedlings, something I have always struggled with. I too was dealing with a cold this week but had to get out and soak up some sunshine - One can only stay in bed for so long. I trimmed up and transplanted some roses and started a donation pile of old tools and wood. Happy new year GA family! 🎉

Just a potato seasoning tip we use is to throw all the potato’s in a ziplock bag and “shake and bake” it to get adequate even coverage of the potatos before dumping them on the cookie sheet. 425 for 25 minutes is perfect for roasting them I’ve found. By the way, using marshmallows with a plastic knife was a perfect idea for the kids!!!
