Thank you so much for going the extra mile in each video. It would be easier NOT to do drone footage, or NOT to show as much detail, but doing all that is exactly why your videos are so successful and professional. Setting up the camera multiple times to get different views of things is just another way your work ethic shows. And MY work ethic is inspired as a result. :)

When you have someone working with you that has as much excitement as you do it makes it all the more fun. I know a lot of us have spouses that while tolerant, aren't nearly as excited as we are for spring. Its so fun to see it in both of you, and inspires me all the more. I know that Laura is the main one I watch, but Aaron is a key component and I really like it when he is involved with projects and has such a great disposition about it all. Makes me smile.

God Bless Y'all.

I respect your opinion, and I've seen "no till" gardens with great results, but I feel like Laura is as good at what she does because she is the way she is. She isn't afraid to work (I'm not saying others are). Having straight lines and such is what makes her feel peaceful and happy. I would say she has a pretty good track record of having healthy plants. What she does seems to work for her in her area and I think she is REALLY enjoying the process this year. Sounds like you have a really good set-up for your garden. Hope you have a great year for gardening.

Looking forward to watching content as the season unfolds. Best wishes on this years growing season. As a side-note, I’ve left leaves on my planting beds in fall and add compost and mulch on top. As the snow melts or rain falls, gravity pulls nutrients down to enhance soil for the growing season, and feeds beneficial insects in spring as the ground thaws. This is what I see nature does so I’m attempting to copy it.

That's a great tip. I have 8 bags of last season's leaves currently placed on the south side of root balls of shrubs I planted last year to protect them from freeze/thaw cycle. I was wondering if I needed to get a shredder and work them into the soil. I like your idea better. Work smarter, not harder. 😁

There are always so many big things, and so many little details you guys need to accomplish every day, let alone your daily responsibilities as parents. I have a small garden space compared to you. How do you determine what to do first? When to walk away, knowing you just don't have time, or want to take time away from other responsibilities you have? I feel overwhelmed at times with so much to do, and you always seem to handle yourself so well. Any advice on how you balance your daily life in the garden and as a Mom and Dad? Thanks Laura 🌸

I have really clay soil and used to think it would just not be possible for my plants to thrive if I didn't till, but Stopping tilling was the best decision I ever made! I did it out of not having a tiller one year and I AM A BELIEVER! Lol! I was tilling for years and adding so much compost but within a week it was like I hadn't done anything. Every thing compacted back down & it was like I didn't add any compost... but adding a little compost each year & leaving the compost on the top makes it so much easier for me when I am planting! Whether its transplants, seeds, whatever- the compost is so easy to dig into! But the drone footage of it being tilled was satisfying! 😂

I have been a fan for four or five years now and feel like part of the "family" . I have a background in landscape design and gardening. I have also mentioned before how much your videos remind me of my childhood home and the gardens and orchard that my father planted over 30 decades ago. After yesterday and today's videos .... I have a SERIOUS case of Spring Fever now!!! I am currently in my Florida home....starting a new seawall and landscaping project here. But I am dreaming of my Maryland home and the stone walls and new woodland gardens planned for this summer. You lit a fire under me and all those plans I have had are moving forward this year. Wow, everything's coming together really well! I love your Dad's idea, you could do it with early spring bulbs like crocus, so by the time you have to cut the grass you wouldn't be cutting blooms (the leaves are very grass-like anyway) and most of the year you would still have an uninterrupted swath of green lawn. :)

The original 2 acre lot with the house was fully landscaped when they moved in. They have changed and added some, but they did not start from scratch. I think the only outbuilding they added to that original property was the cold frame.

Good morning!! ☕️☕️ 🙋🏼‍♀️ I found with the 1/4” drip that I lost pressure the further down the line it went if my line got too long. So I T’d back into itself at the starting point. Made a HUGE difference. 💁🏼‍♀️ Looking forward to those raised beds...will be GORgeous!! 🙌🏼
