I am happy with the cuts made in this episode, the only really significant cut that wasn't there was "how" Subaru is able to walk around right now, outside of that it's mostly for time cutting things and for what they added at this point of the story, I'm happy to have have Felix being the cute healer wanting to protect his patient bit.

Anime can use more things other then dialogue to bring entertainment(and no I'm not saying it needs action) so just because a few lines from AI will get cut, it doesn't mean the anime will lose important things

what i dont get about the garfield fight, is why he didnt just do a full on transformation, even against elsa before he was instantly able to completely overpower her with the transformation, the same when he fought the witch of envy, sure he lost, but he fought her really well with his full transformation, surely he could have done the same here?

In the anime it really didn't seem to portray much of how Garf F up leading to Mimi being injured, as it was quite quick pacing during the scenes. Yes it was made clear to himself it is his fault but in the LN its even more apparent that he screw up badly as when reading during the fight encounter the description of what had happen slow down the scene to allow the audience to understand.

Garf is so young man I'm kinda worried in the back of my mind of him going insane or evil. He's got what reminds me of a 9-tailed-fox sealed inside him from Naruto, who knows how strong, probably not that strong but still, it doesn't wanna do him any good things in life. Plus his life being flipped upside down with everything and everyone besides Subaru basically. I guess him losing too much control shouldn't be too possible with Subaru but I dunno, Subaru also couldn't save Emilia from being captured. Its a scary thought thinking of losing Garf to the enemy as he grows older
