Cooking Procedure:
Clean and devein the shrimp using toothpick
Add 2 tbsp of oil ( canola ) in a pan - Medium heat
Add 110g salted butter and let it melt
Add minced garlic ( 2 tbsp full )
Add 1 tbsp of white sugar
Add 1 tbsp Korean Red Pepper Flakes
( This is not spicy but it gives a bright orange color and flavor to the shrimp )
Add shrimp and mix well ( adjust the heat to high flame )
Add 295ml sprite soda
Cover and cook for 10 minutes
Transfer to a plate
Spiced vinegar or Sukang Sawsawan ( without cucumber ) is the best dipping sauce and the extra garlic butter shrimp sauce on top of the steamed rice as " Sabaw "
