I found out I had that mutant gene at 60 and it turns out my son has it too. Thank you for talking about it now I understand why I had so many health issues. Thanks to a doctor who had the guts to think k outside the box we just took a simple test and that test even revealed how we metabolized medicines as well as we needed to supplant for that mutant gene. . I want to say sincerest heartfelt thank you. The information in this video saved my life I’m sure of it. Severe anxiety was sending me to a dark spot. I had a lot of the supplements mentioned but hadn’t been consistent. This has been life altering. Please send a big hug and thank you to Gary and you as well Jay. I’m not entirely sure I would have made it 5yrs without this. I hope to get a genetics test done. Anyone else reading this please watch this video or share this information with compassion. Blessings to you and may we all be at peace. Edit: I had been eating lots of sugar my whole life. I knew it was bad in more than 20g, for a lot of reasons. I never knew exactly the neurological reasons. I’ll be restricting my consumption of carbs and doing the keto regimen for the foreseeable future.

Mr. Shetty, in light of the recent Guardian article that casts doubt on the authenticity of your monk backstory and raises allegations of plagiarism, there’s a pressing issue that needs your attention. Many individuals have invested $7,400 in the Jay Shetty Certification School, believing in its promise of a pathway to higher education. Yet, it appears that the advertised affiliations with universities do not exist, and the Guardian’s report suggests that your narrative may not be entirely accurate. This has left students feeling potentially deceived, having spent significant amounts of money and time on a certification that may not provide the value they were led to expect. How do you respond to these students’ concerns, and what measures are you taking to address this serious discrepancy?

@@Daisymaryia_official Thank you for bringing up these concerns. It’s crucial to acknowledge the dedication and hard work of mental health professionals who have invested significant time and effort into their education to provide ethical and effective support. Allegations of plagiarism and misleading claims are serious matters that demand a clear and transparent response. Dismissing these issues is not enough; there needs to be accountability and a willingness to address the concerns raised openly. Individuals who have invested in certifications deserve honesty and the assurance that their qualifications hold value. It’s important for public figures to engage with these concerns with the same level of commitment they apply to their work, ensuring that trust and respect are maintained.

Basically we flood our blood stream with oils (fats) and the body is not able to absorb & digest important nutrients because the body is busy cleaning up the oil mess. 44:30 - Pre & Postpartum Care: If you look at what happens during a woman’s menstrual cycle and you look at what happens when she becomes pregnant. It’s perfectly normal during regular cyclical periods of her cycle for her estrogen to be as high as in the 400s, and it’s perfectly normal for it to be in the teens. So there is a large rise and fall depending on where she is in the cycle. As soon as she becomes pregnant, estrogen goes into the 4000s. Mainly because one of estrogen primary rules is to retain water, to pad the uterus, to protect the fetus, and it has other roles too. But postpartum, you don’t want to be estrogen dominant. His OBGYN is phenomenal about pre-and postpartum care. And she is an enormous believer that certain gene mutations like MTHFR, which increases the frequency of miscarriage. She has delivered 9000 babies so she is very qualified to speak on that. That gene mutation is one of the most common gene mutations in the world, the MTHFR gene mutation. It is the Gene that codes For the conversion of folic acid and its derivatives like folate into the usable form called methyl folate. we have a process in the body called methylation, which is where we take one raw material, which is useless, Folic acid for example is totally useless. It does not prevent neural tube defects until it is converted into methylfolate. So What if your body cannot make this conversion? It might not sound like a big deal until you realize, number 1, that it’s the most common gene mutation in the world. And number 2, folic acid is the most prevalent nutrient in the human diet in the United States. So if you have an issue converting the most prevalent nutrient in the human diet into the form that your body can use, you have a significant deficiency. And the expression of this deficiency is increase in the number of miscarriages, infertility, difficulty in getting pregnant, postpartum depression (which can actually begin before the pregnancy ends). And women that have this MTHFR gene mutation, the first thing they are told when they get pregnant by their OB/GYN is to take high doses of folic acid. Well if you put 1400 or 1800% of the daily allowance of folic acid into a woman like that who has that gene mutation and cannot process it. That is a disaster. And then she develops postpartum depression before the pregnancy ends. And eventually, when the pregnancy ends, she stops taking the prenatal vitamin and the symptoms go away, and so she blames it on the pregnancy and not on the vitamin. And this is another pandemic that we see is that, pregnant women, all of them can use methyl folate, less than 60% of them can use folic acid, so why don’t we just give women methyl folate? Why don’t we actually just give them the form that their body can use? By the way, folic acid is a man-made chemical. You can’t find folic acid anywhere on the surface of the Earth. It does not occur naturally in Nature. So someone tried to convince him how a chemical that we make in a laboratory is somehow Necessary for optimal health. It can’t be. It wasn’t even around until 1993. What did we do before that? So he is a huge believer in getting back to the basics is really the gateway to optimal health. How do you know if you have that genetic mutation? And what do you do about it? You do a cheek swab test, you put it in a test tube, and they will send you back the results. You can do the test at 23 and Me. Or you could do one with us, we do 20,000 of these a month. Depending on the genetic test that you do, you will get a lot of non-actionable data. you want to look at the genes 🧬 that are responsible for converting raw material, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, nutrients, proteins into the body which are useless in that state until they are converted into the usable form that the body can use. And this is governed by several of our genes. It is very easy to look at, and you only do that test once in your lifetime.

Sounds like maybe you need more Vitamin C. Try taking a supplement and test it out for yourself.

@@vitalishusOne of the docs on tv says that Vit C has to be taken 4 times in a 24 hr period to be effective and that he takes it in time- release caps. I had read somewhere to not take time release caps of Vit C, so I try to get a 1000 mg capsule in when I think about it at diff times throughout the day and once in the night when I'm up to the b.r. In 2003, I read a paper written by a young cardiologist who treated patients at the Cleveland Clinic. He said that his patients were referred to him when they had on average three weeks to live. That he wondered if high doses of Vit. C (builds connective tissue) would help. He began administering high doses of IV Vit C and these near end of life patients recovered! I've noticed that various clinics in Cleveland and New York offer IV Vit C treatments. Cannot locate the article or the now-middle aged cardiologist's name. I had saved it to a folder, but possibly in a Yahoo acct. that Yahoo deleted on me. Need to find him. A dr. in Norfolk, VA published an article in Oct. 2016, just after my elderly mother died of Sepsis, how he and his staff had begun giving large doses of IV Vit C, Thiamine (I think that is the B Vit they use),😮 plus steriods for inflamation to all Sepsis patients. I have read that once a patient moves from Stage 2 Sepsis to Stage 3, they always die. The good doc's patients placed on this protocol were recovering and going home at a rate of 92%, but the official medical society denies the efficacy of the protocol. During Covid, the earlier patients dying in hospitals hooked to monitors were dying of Sepsis, although I never saw it called Sepsis. I may have seen it called toxic shock syndrome (as in the tampon crisis), or another name. Never once read of a doc treating a Covid patient prophalactically for Sepsis. We were raised taking Vit C bc my grandparents believed Dr. Linus Pauling in the 50s-60s. I will finish this vid this afternoon, but Mr. Brecka's advice is topnotch from all I've seen thus far.

51:25 - Maybe you’re not as sick or as pathological diseased as you think. People that very often suffer from gut issues. His clinic sees this thousands and thousands of times. They get gas or bloating or diarrhea or constipation or irritability, cramping and they are always trying to relate it to what they last ate because that makes sense, right? “I ate something and now I blew up like a tick. It must have been what I ate.” But you may not be considering that if you are deficient in methyl folate, for example, a very simple nutrient, that the peristaltic activity of the gut is off. So the piece of the gut is off. You can think of the human intestinal tract as a 30 foot long conveyor belt. You put contents in on it at one end and as it traverses from one end to the other end from the stomach to the rectum, there is a very specific sequence of events that needs to occur. There is acidic bacteria in the proximal end of the small intestine, there is alkaline bacteria in the distal and or the rectum. What if you just changed the pace of that conveyor belt? What if you went into any factory in America that works on a conveyor belt system and doubled the speed of the conveyor belt? The whole line would break down. What if you went into any factory in America and reversed the speed of the conveyor belt? The whole line would break down but there is nothing wrong with the conveyor belt. And this sends people down the wrong road because they think they need to get their gut bacteria checked, get their gut biome looked at, should I start taking probiotics, maybe I have SIBO, should I change up my diet? And nothing really seems to work because they think it’s something happening to them, than that, it’s something happening within them. This happens very often with anxiety. People that suffer from anxiety generally have the same three characteristics. Generally, if you ask them, have you had it on and off for your entire lifetime? They will say yes. Can you point to the specific trigger that causes it? They say no. Anti-anxiety medication helped you? They say no. These are very commonly the same sequence of answers. So that is not something happening to you, that is something happening within you. Then this is a sign that this is a Genetic mutation That’s led to a deficiency that’s causing the expression of that condition. We very rarely passed disease from generation to generation. We do pass deficiency, we passed these jeans that are either broken or operating. And when these gene stems are broken, the body has an inability to convert a certain raw material into the usable form. Which means that this deficiency is passed from generation to generation. A deficiency in the ability to down regulate homocysteine means that you get the expression of hypertension. So you see that hypertension runs in these families. Even though there is not a hypertension gene. You see that the inability to convert thyroid hormone T4 into T3, that this process is impaired so people have hypothyroid, but the hypothyroid runs in families so there’s no specific hypothyroid gene. We accept that things are inherited or familial because they run in our family, not because we consider that a deficiency may run in our family. And that deficiency can be fixed.

How are people that can't afford to go to the doctor or blood test supposed to figure out what thier deficiency is? That's the problem some people do want to know about thier health and simply can't afford it. Is there a way for poor people to do this? Please don't say you can't afford not to. That is obvious. Im asking a really sincere question. How are we supposed to do this?

42:43 - Brain fog has to do with access. In the disease, Alzheimer’s, it’s not that people are losing their memory, they are losing access to their memory. In the early stages access can be restored. There is a significant difference between memory actually fading (which it does in the later stages), and access to the memory fading. So the oxidative state of the body is very important. Which is why he thinks people really need to get data. If you hormones are in the optimal range, you’re not nutrient deficient, you’re not insulin resistant, he’s not saying that your blood labs need to be perfect, but by dialing in a few markers in your hormone levels and your nutrient levels you can live a dramatically different life. And in the majority of cases probably 70%, people that qualify to be on hormone therapy. Don’t even need hormones. They need the nutrients to make hormones. And that to Gary is very exciting. You need to get data on the deficiency so that you can drive a state of being optimal. So many people call him a few weeks into their journey and say “oh my God I feel amazing”. And Gary says, “you don’t feel amazing, you feel normal.”

You don't distinguish between the two different types of MTHFR gene mutations and how they affect the body differently. I have the 1298c Homozygous gene mutation and my husband has the 677t Homozygous gene mutation. The different mutations cause different issues yet you just bundle everything together under the MTHFR gene mutation which is a bit misleading.

It is challenging to accept advice from someone who lacks integrity and honesty. Maintaining confidentiality is essential, but resorting to deception is not the best approach. I recently reviewed the Guardian Article and found a lack of empirical evidence supporting the individual's claims regarding mental health. Before seeking advice from such individuals, it is crucial to conduct thorough research and due diligence to ensure their credibility and expertise.
