I think the solos in this were some of his finest in fact, the critics did not like these albums, but who cares what the critics think, it's heart and soul and GARY had all that and more - a real champion of strength on the guitar, there will never be anyone else with such passion and fire and strength - I still hate it that he's gone....I will never forget him, glad I saw him in Leeds many year ago

You know he's killing it when his band can't help smiling. The best guitarist ever and that includes Jimi, Clapton BB King and "the names"....nothing needed to be said about him, just "fuck the rock and roll hierarchy " he does not need them to be a legend in truth.

Gary Moore is unlike other guitarists and singer song writers. He is beyond talented. What you are seeing here is pure transparency of a man who puts everything he has into his music. I have never felt a connection with any other artist as I do with Gary Moore. I hope he had his affairs in order with Jesus. I just can't stop listening to this song. This is my absolute favorite of all his songs and there are many great ones to choose from. I don't always need a great screw driver but when I do I choose Stanley. Can you believe that! He gets every ounce of tone and creativity regardless of what guitar is in his hands. There is a song by Wayne Watson called The Touch Of The Masters Hand. That is what we are seeing right here.

In every heart a story is told. There's a way you can believe in forever. In every life the story unfolds, like a mystery for you to see and tear away the mask. Hold on to your dreams, learn how to fly like angels. Hold on to your dreams, soaring above, wings of love. In every tear a lesson to learn. There's a way you can believe in forever. Time never hears the reasons we give. It just marches on until it's gone, forever and a day. Hold on to your dreams, learn how to fly like angels. Hold on to your dreams, soaring above, wings of love. Hold on to your dreams, learn how to fly like angels. Hold on to your dreams, soaring above, wings of love. Ive been playing guitar since 74 and yes i can play satrinani and eddie and ive been inspired to learn most of the best solos over the years the likes of zepplin, sanbath , whitesnake , frank marino , robin trower to name a few and my most lived solos ever are hendrixs are you experienced and stairway to heaven but the way gary builds this song up towards the end gets me hypnotised and that end solo in the studio version is as good if not better that hendrux and paige put together its just a brilliant choice of phrasing and i dont think anyone could copy it , miss gary moore ..oh and may i add that emoty rooms and military man are brilliant also ..
