GBA IPS v2 Screen Mod

In this video i will be replacing my current screen in my Gameboy Advance with a modern IPS backlit display. This mod turned out way better then i thought.

Hello! Nice video! I'm going to do the same mod soon. Which soldering iron did you use for it? I'm a newbie soldering and I do not know which one should I buy for this...

Thank you 😊 and good luck these mods are awesome. And I use a off brand one from amazon called TXINLEI 8586 it's a hot air station with a soldering iron. Hot air station comes in handy with some of my projects 👍

I used your tutorial for installing my screen. The only issue with your video was your camera was didn't focus on your solder points... It'd have helped if you named each point instead of saying "left/right". Did your ebay case have the screw holes pre drilled? My Aliexpress shell case was not predrilled and I had a lot of trouble putting my case back together using the supplied screw drivers.
