Good day everyone. For people using EdgeTX radio like TX16S or Zorro. Here the set up: Protocol : Mode=Multi / Type=DSM / Subtype=X 2F Inputs: channel 1-4=AETR / Channel 5= Safe-AS3X / Channel 6=Flaperon - Follow flaperon Advance setup in the manual to activate it on ur TX, it works well. "The sound of freedom in the background". I like it. Nice plane, she's a mover! Edit: Go into telemetry, then to smart battery, you should see three alarms. Inhibit the first two and that annoying sound will stop.

Under telemetry, scroll to esc, scroll to LVC alarm. U can make it 'off', but be sure it's set at 3.4v/cell & set AT 3s, not 2s (& verse-vica🤪). Personally, I trashed & gave my 20se away for $500 & bought my tx16s max 2 tx. I gave $2K for that 20se &, IMHO, is no better than a DXs. Tx16s is so many 100x the everything of everything spektrum makes. BUT, u gotta unlearn everything spektrum. It's soooo much easier running EdgeTx.

Thanks and I agree in most instances. When clouds are this dark, it fuzzes out like crazy when you zoom out from a fast small thing like this. I will make another video when the sun is nice and the sky is clear 👊🏻💥👊🏻

It is really awesome! Both are in fact! The Radian is on a rare sale right now, so I suggest you get that one first, on sale, then this one. Then again, this plane is 2-3 planes in one. I hope this comment is helpful 👊🏻💥👊🏻

Nice! Just maidened mine as well, only 2s for now since the 3s I had didn't fit, but coughed up the cash for Spektrum ones. Overpiced but hey, I love their UMX. And indeed it's a stout plane, out of the UMX maybe only tye Ultrix is tougher.

Thank you! I will need to check out your 2S video. You know, I have learned that it normally makes the most sense to use the recommended packs for these UMX planes. I also don’t say that as someone that has Horizon Hobby affiliate links because I have purchased everything myself from the batteries to planes seen in my videos. They just seem to work well and they work in all of the UMX Planes. I am off to check out your video now 👊🏻💥👊🏻

Thank you! That is something I am trying to figure out to be honest. I have some smaller velcro I may try in the future, but on this flight, I could barely get the canopy on with the battery velcro on the bottom. It does have velcro straps and is a very tight fit in there. I am guessing it really isn’t needed so long as the canopy seats properly and you use the velcro straps.

On safe mode this just goes up like its going to go in a loop when I throttle up at even 50%. I fly the umx p51 voodoo with the same throttle level that one goes straight. Did i configure it wrong? Any ideas how to fix it?

Trim it out of SAFE to get to fly right. SAFE is great, but it will not allow you to can an accurate trim with it. I hope that helps! 👊🏻💥👊🏻

GB great flying and John always awesome video ❤️. In my large fleet I have 3 gliders. All are large and the one I love the most Extreme Surfer. It has 2 pods. Flys best with the EDF Pod. Many UMX planes no glider jet. This one on my list now 🤣. Say hi to Darci and Jodie for me. ✈️🧔💝💝💝

Nice maiden. Nice bird. Suggestion for the videographer...if you spend too much time fully zoomed in on a flying plane you loose the spatial perspective of where it is, how fast it's going, how fast it's changing directions...in other words it's less enjoyable than if you zoom out a little bit and let us see some of the ground, the horizon, the trees, and let us get more of a sense of what the plane is actually doing. When the plane itself fills most of the screen and there's nothing else on-screen for reference, it just doesn't feel as much like flying. (Obviously the opposite is bad too...being fully zoomed out gives lots of spatial and velocity perspective, but the plane is so small that that get boring too. I don't have anyone videoing for me, so my videos are always fully zoomed out. Not cool.) FWIW.

Thanks for watching and commenting! The thing about recording moving objects like RC Planes, especially small ones like this, is camera fuzzes. It is compounded even more with the dark Washington clouds this plane was flying against. My rule of thumb is to error on the side of being in too tight versus being too far out. In circumstances like this, you will only have very fuzzy crappy footage that is very hard to edit. It is pretty much impossible to have both, sadly. The only difference might be having a $20,000+ camera, but that simply is not in the cards for me. Btw, I have tons of new videos I plan to drop between now and Christmas 👊🏻💥👊🏻
