It's got an assortment of pinky and brown/taupe-ish shades. Kinda gives me Patrick Ta's Major Dimension II vibes, but without the creams and in Lorac's fantastic formula (I HOPE!! I have become intrigued by old school eyeshadow lately! I just bought a maybelline single in forest green. I really packed it on (after using milani primer of course😉), and it got the job done! Good pigment, a little flaky, but not much fallout after tapping. I just bought a 3 drawer white/clear organizer so I can better see what makeup I already have🙂🙂

I finally bought the Wetnwild matte foundation. I will really surprised at how much I liked it. And the shade soft beige was perfect for me. I also bought 2 liquid blushes from profusion.And absolutely loved them. The best part was how super affordable everything was. Thanks Emily !!!

I like the Wet n Wild Tinted Hydrator. Have been using it for awhile. Reminds me of a Rimmel product that was discontinued many years ago. It was my “foundation”. I think you reviewed it back in the day. 😊

That WnW Tinted Hydrator is def a fave, it always reminded me of the CG Vitalist & the original CG TruBlend - which were always in my rotation bcz they’re all so similar - just very easy & skin-like. And WnW w/it’s $5 price tag & perfect undertone, it’s a great go-to! That never happens for me ♥️

Amanda Z, who also has a channel here on KZbin put up a video today (June 1st) about one of Bethany's "reviews". Idk if it's the same one Emily is talking about, but here's my take after seeing it and Amanda's video... So, Bethany's "review" of a microdermabrasion powder (she spoke of other products as well, but I'm only talking about this one in particular) consisted of her rubbing the powder in between her fingers and saying that she could tell how good it was bc of its consistency and her past use of products similar to it... I have SO many reservations about this. 1st, the skin on our hands is way thicker than the skin on our faces, so using how it "feels" on your hands as a indicator of its effectiveness is completely unreliable. 2nd, the skin on our hands is also way tougher than the skin on our faces. Abrasive powders are less likely to cause a reaction for being too strong for our hands compared to the more sensitive skin on our faces. 3rd, a first impression is exactly that. They're fine when they're kept in the context of a first impression, but when someone says that they know all they need to know about a product by the way it feels on their fingers.. I'm sry but "HUH?" 🤨 and in what universe?!? I really don't understand how anyone could take that "review" seriously and after witnessing something like that idk if I could trust a review (whether it be in depth OR a first impression) from them in the future.

The drugstore makeup really has gotten so much better. I just made a video about 4 categories where you don’t need to bother with high end anymore. They are imo mascara, lipgloss, bronzer and matte lipstick

You should try the Ulta brand Tinted Mineral Lotion with SPF 30 and the Ulta Setting Spray with SPF. Almost no coverage, but the lotion makes a great SPF base because it doesn't leave a white cast at all and I feel like the setting spray does help my makeup stay put plus has the sunscreen benefit. Super affordable as is, and they go on sale often B1G1 40% or 50% off. I've used both for a few years now.

I would recommend the ulta brand tinted sunscreen! We usually match shade wise and it is perfect for me. I use it alone most days in the summer. I can put a full face of makeup on and you can't tell I don't have foundation on.

It's always nice to hear about new drugstore products. The blush really compliments the glow from the wnw hydrator. I found a small display at Dollar Tree of some LA Color products. I picked up a few....lol...and I really like the tinted lipstick "like a boss" color. I think it's way more than a tint and it leaves a nice stain. I wear it alone or over my Loreal lipstick in 976 power petal (which I can't find anywhere all of a sudden and I'm freaking out) I'm down to the nub!!

I just tried CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Suncreen sheer face tint spf 30. It has a tint with a bit more color than the one you showed. Not really a makeup but you definitely get some color

Except for replacements, the last makeup item I bought was the physician's formula box you made a video on. I bought it as soon as the video came out and I use it every time I wear makeup. it replaces everything I own, with the exception of my old KVD shade and light palette for natural looks. I just wanted you to know your value and how much you have saved me over the years. That box and your Wants palette have gotten me through several years of financial trouble but still wanting to look pretty.

Love the drugstore content!! I’d like to see what you think of the Wet n Wild Bare Focus Clarifying Finishing Powder! As someone who is the exact same age as you, but with oily textured skin, powders are NOT my friend. They always look cakey and textured. But that wet n wild clarifying powder is magic! I’ve tried every powder from drugstore to high end and nothing is as beautiful as that! AND it’s only 3 bucks!

Cerve has an amazing tinted mineral sunscreen and it has a beautiful tint to it. On hot 80-90° weather I wear it alone and it makes me look dewy.

Loving it! 😍😍😍 The spf could probably match your skin better if you apply a few drops of liquid bronzer (I use the Niod photography fluid tan to a mineral spf with a tiny whitecast, but I’m sure others will work). Yes, the spf will be diluted; but not an awfully lot. Thanks for sharing! ❤️

I like the Cerave tinted mineral block. I have medium skin in the summer light medium in the winter and I use it year around. It’s much lighter than my skin but under tinted moisturizer or serum foundation it’s gone! Since I’m a sweaty menopausal 45 yo I use the jcat waterproof powder inThe summer!

Em, you need to apply more SPF to your face. An all mineral SPF will always leave a cast unless it has a decent amount of iron oxides for tint.

I love that Wet and Wild Tinted Moisturizer. I got it recently and it is one of my favorite tinted moisturizers. It lasts a long time on my oily skin and I wear it to work a few days a week. I found the lightest shade that you showed of the liquid blush from L.A. Girl at the Dollar Tree! I love it! It shows up on deep skin. Thanks for the video!🙂
