The time-span to see an entire second of impact build up is in excess of a million years - and there are far more impactful factors at play well beyond our control. This is such a nothingburger and if we really wanted to have a change in impact: We would just require all long haul flights to start traveling in a single direction around the globe. And no: I'm not kidding about that. Take the moon: If we wanted to accelerate it's rotational speed, we could do so simply by getting enough people and robots and such travelling around it in one direction such that the counter action of motion we take imparts in the direction of rotation we want the moon to spin more in. The thing about destroying a dam like the three gorges is that you don't have to destroy the whole thing. You only need to damage it enough so that water pressure end up destroying it or at the very least causing a massive flood that effectively does the same as if it was destroyed by missiles. For instance if you are able to puncture a hole or create a big enough crater from which water can leak at a decent pressure, the whole structure is doomed.

Sorry for the lag of Mathematics but from a Paleontology perspective, which is the only science I know to deal with rocks and eggs alike, the answer would be 1:1. One egg equals one rock. All eggs are rocks with enough time.

Holy crap I came to the same conclusion via totally different method. 1 egg has 2.2gm CaCO2 and that is pretty much smack dead in the middle of Limestones density range so 1 egg = 1cubic cm of Limestone. Using the google average of Limestone rock with some liberties I came out to 318,564 eggs roughly. Now, since I was pedantic enough to figure all that out I may as well apply the same rigor to your post and mention the vast majority of eggs do not indeed become fossilized, so we come up against a problem. I swear if I look up and find out 1 in 300 thousand get fossilized ima 5shit bricks.

Okay, here's the math: a chicken eats about 3-4 grams of grit (tiny rocks) daily, which helps grind up food in their gizzard because they don’t have teeth. This translates to roughly 2-3 small pebbles per day. A healthy hen lays about 5-6 eggs per week, so roughly 1 egg every 1.2 days. If we assume the chicken consumes 3.5 grams of grit per day, over 1.2 days, that’s about 4.2 grams of grit per egg. With each pebble weighing about 1.5 grams, you end up with around 2.8 small pebbles consumed before each egg is laid!

As to why it’s such a common “sentiment”, I think it’s due to so many online spheres intersecting on the concept. Namely military, geopolitical, and general anti-Chinese sentiment, in addition to how controversial the dam is due to its ecological impact. If you look in to the vote on whether to go ahead with it, there was a substantial push back within the Chinese government and public sector.

Similiar to the "Daisy Cutter" during Vietnam, it maximizes the dustructive force of the pressure wave to destroy targets, rather than a reinforced shell for punching through concrete, rock, and steel. Its designed for soft surface targets, not hard targets. The reason we have defence forces in some countries is not to have an offensive force to rake over other countries. It is infact to deteer an offensive military from having any bad ideas about invading that country. Finland for example has a mobilized streingth of 280k troops. That's about as many as are on ether side of the ukraine war at the moment. The difference being, that finland has a large reserve of about 900k trained people with 6 to 12 months of service and many having refresher training. Also, since Finland's (and taiwan's) economic value mostly come from intellectual property and the people, a total war (which it would be) would result in the offensive nation suffering at best a pyric victory and perhaps winning ruins. And more propably in a negative gain in value as partesan/commando/guerella trained finns would just do all kinds of fun stuff to the invader. This is why this kind of things are not "warmongering", but peace enforcing. Unless completely mad, the invader will not do it.
