I watched Hal on TSM for a few years. When he went to falcons, they were so nasty, winning way more scrims than I remember TSM ever doing. Then they had one bad finals set, came in last, and dropped Gen. If they had just kept Gen and worked though it, I believe they would still be the best team.

A little bit more happened in that time though too. The meta changed and they started struggling with it, they put Gen on Crypto where he didnt do well, which I think was a bad decision and then it came out that Zero and Gen were having personal issues over an extended period of time before this. I think the personal issues were likely the majority of the reason for dropping Gen and the 20th was just the icing on the cake. I think they should have tried to work it out with each other but maybe they just couldnt. Unfortunately Zero has never said anything about any of this so we'll just never know.

hal leaving tsm was the best thing to happen to reps and verhulst not because they do better without him but because it was a huge wake up call for them. they were not practicing and they got complacent/lazy. now they want to try, they want to prove themselves and they want to win

The difference is in TSM, when you do bad, you don't kick teammate, you improve with your team, there is consistency With Falcon/DZ, Zero literally trade one teammate every LAN, first Zynew, then Sikez, now Gen. Also he talks in stream how he want to trade his teammate for Koyful. Imagine playing with that!

Tell that to Alb and Snipe, and believe me if Hal didn't leave TSM when they were doing bad because Reps and Evan were not pulling their weights (not practicing at all outside scrims) they would've get dropped. Or at least one of them would.

I’ve even seen Hal lose his passion but they always work through it. They sometimes don’t understand the meta or are too slow at adapting but they eventually figure it out and are back on top.

They put the best fragger as a support legend....They pretty much handicap the team.... Hal play style is very aggressive and his gameplay sense is high from IGL for a long time . Waltzy need to play support because he keep getting down too much. There a big different when hal go in 1st he mostly knock another player+ low other player hp and get knock or live. Waltzy just low their hp and get knock almost all the time then hal either have to clean up or die with them....

to be fair hal played maggie a lot which i wouldn't consider a support character the problem they had is they didnt have a castle with maggie they shouldve had wxltzy as castle with hal on maggie but i would also say hals play style has changed a lot from joining falcons he plays a lot less aggressive than he used to and has started being the clean up clutch guy late in fights not the first guy in which i dont think hal being the late clutch guy is bad though he is really good at 1v1s

I’d disagree. I’d say Hal was passionate but his personality and way of doing things made the team lose morale/not want to practice. Keeping team morale falls on the leader, if he can’t do that the team will fail. They are thriving now because they don’t have Hal breathing down their throats. It’s hard to lose passion but to see that they lost passion due to Hal’s behavior is very telling of their treatment.

There's very few pros I can think of off the top of my head that don't ego-check other pros, the first that come to mind are Verhulst and Reps, which is why I feel Hal was a perfect fit with them (yes I still miss old TSM) ;__;

And just remember verhulst always hits up firing range daily. I notice many added friends dont hit firing range and appear offline than magically sign on and are 2 tiers higher than last i saw them. however, when i play with them, they brainlessly rush middle ring gun fights and just get cooked or put us in a bad situation. Ignore my call outs, and we lose almost as if on purpose. swap and practice legend abilities while doing different drills, which i do every day. I can now hold my own verse preds consistently, which is the key ingredient to being the best. Consistency. Speaking of preds. Now that I've really improved my Overall game iq I can definitely tell most if not all preds cheat or did to get the badges because how do u suck at everything that pros focus on except movement and aim. They can't even understand a macro, and it shows. Cheaters are very lol iq easy mode ego maniacally defensive children, and it shows. Honestly, I see why cod is so popular because the general population can't differentiate between skill based games and easy brainrot games. Ego is why the majority don't understand what a team is. This playstyle works best with a full squad ofc if you are solo and see a heavy thats what the thermite is for Have fun shield dome is actually pretty good right now❤

Waltzy was 90% of the time dying first, no exaggeration. The problem with the Falcons is that they put together a team with 3 IGL's. I understand that they are not all IGL'ing but they have the mindset of IGL's and they can't help thinking what their opinions would be instead of purely playing a role player who understands the actual IGL's style. Every successful roster has always been an IGL and 2 role players who understand their IGL.
