It was quit surprising and even more surprising when we did RF tests. Stu AG6AG

Stu, I am looking forward to having you test electrical noise and possibly showing some noise filters. Many of us use these type of generators for Field Day and want the output to be as clean as possible. Thanks, Stu. 73, Robert KM6RSS

Could you do another video about the "bonded test"? The "common bonding adapter"? Anytime I ask in the stores about grounding they said it wasn't necessary at all so I would love to have more information from someone who actually knows about this. Can you not only discuss the testing but the adapter itself and how to use it? Thank you so much for this video It really was exceptionally helpful for me. 🙌

You might be referring to an adapter, which plugs into the generator outlet, that connects the white and green leads in the outlet. Some furnaces and other equipment will not work without this adapter. Many people make their own.

Hi. This review was really helpful. I’m getting one of these to back up power for communications and the fridge during outages. How did you change the oil? Did you use a drain hose? Too heavy for me to lift, so it will be on a cart, on blocks. Your vide was great, but I couldn’t see the drain plug. I’m trying to figure out if a Drainzit hose will work. If you see this, thanks for any info.

I have 4 of these: www.homedepot.com/p/Gorilla-Ladders-1-Step-Plastic-Step-Stool-with-300-lbs-Load-Capacity-7ft-Reach-Height-GLP-1S/206618097 I can lift one side at a time and slide them under the corners. I use them for all sorts of stuff! Glad you liked the Video! Stu AG6AG

What was the frequency on the c 3500 under load? Mine dropped to 55hz
@AG6AG Жыл бұрын
Hi Kenneth, Didn't seem to drop... Off camera I did test to 3K and the inverter held the frequency just fine. I didn't test it using ecomode. Was that your test parameter? Stu AG6AG

Do you have an update on how this generator is running after a year?

Still going strong. Only maintenance has been regular oil changes. Stu AG6AG

Great video, it sold me on the 3500. But I would move out of that hell hole CA! Jesus, limiting what you can buy, absolutely communist!

Hi Emery, It's a nice generator and really good around radios. California is a mixed bag for me. I'm not a real fan of their politics, but my family loves the weather. I'm stuck here until my wife decides she's had it with the cost of living or all the kids move away and she wants to follow them. Love sure makes you do crazy things... *SMILE* Stu AG6AG
