Good video. Only thing I'll point out is that "How Star Wars was saved in the edit" is frankly little more than an ill-spirited hit piece on George Lucas. There isn't a film in history that was good without the help of capable editors. George Lucas just got singled out because hating on him used to be cool.

He went uncredited for editing each of the original trilogy. Such a glory hog right? Editing was his first love. He started in film school doing tone poems with no narrative.

The fandom really went overboard with the prequels. Tried to make the creator feel like he didn’t know his own franchise. Very pretentious. That one’s on them.

Yeah, definitely over the top. It’s a shame that no one wanted to take on role of director in the prequels though. This would have allowed Lucas to focus more on his strengths. I mean, we see in the behind the scenes footage of The Phantom Menace, George and the crew knew they’d fucked up with Jar-Jar’s role. But it was too late into production to dial it back and amend it.

It's not like George was crushing it. 2 of the sequels were at least good movies. Remove Duel of the Fates and Battle of Heroes and the Prequels have nothing. And lets be honest, those are pretty, but actually kinda weak.
