Love him. His voice is so clear and crisp. Nothing over the top, just pure and natural. His songs do tell beautiful life stories.

George is loved because of his voice but, he's on a pedastool because of the man he's chosen to be. Throughout his career he hasn't had shady or questionable actions. He is one of the few who practiced everything he preached.

George Strait is amazing! My sister used this song for her 'father/daughter' dance at her wedding many years ago. The lyric "When I became a father in the spring of '81..' My sister was born in March of 1981.

That was a King singing for a former President. :D Yeah, that was George H.W. Bush that passed recently. All the Bush's loved country music, and contrary to most pop and rock, a lot of country artists aren't openly hostile to Republicans, most are actually fairly conservative.

My earliest memory, as far back as I can remember, I must of been 4 or 5 and his song baby's gotten good at goodbye resonated with me. I don't know why. Maybe it was the sound or how i tied those lyrics to a memory of home. In any case, I had his greatest hits at the time on a cassette tape and would manually rewind that song until I fell asleep almost every night until the radio or cassett broke. Even to this day I can hear that song and even though I understand the lyrics now, i just feel much calmer after listening to ir

George Strait is one of the few legends I haven't gotten to see live yet. And would love to do so. But I am not sure once we are able to go to concerts again. If he'll go back on tour or not. There's been a few times he's been in the cities near the town I live. But in winter. And if there's a snow storm. We're far enough away we wouldn't be able to make it. So mom doesn't always like purchasing tickets in winter. In case it should snow and we aren't able to make it to the concert.

The first song I remember hearing from George Strait Was Ocean Front Property, I also think it's his first top ten hit? React to it if you want you won't be disappointed😊
@Muzikgirl675 жыл бұрын
George Strait's first Top 10 single was his first hit right out of the box back during the summer of 1981 titled "Unwound", which climbed to #6...by the time "Ocean front property" was released in 1987, George had hit the Top 40 a total of 17 times prior, with 16 of those tunes reaching the Top 10, and had 9 of those singles make it all the way to the #1 spot! His first #1 was "Fool hearted memory" in 1982..."Ocean front property" (his 18th Top 40 hit) also made it to #1...hope that helps a little! Take Care! Ms. Elizabeth📟💿📟💿📟

I don't know the name of it but George Strait has a song about his daughter that died in car wreck just after he was becoming successful. She was either 13 or 14. She'd be around my daughter's age, 46 now. He did the song, don't remember it from radio? Found it one night on KZbin. The song was done years after her death.
@muddpatterson31195 жыл бұрын
He's not called King George for the hell of it. 60 number 1 hits so far in his career. More than any other singer ever. He's never let his fame and success go to his head. A quiet man that sells out concert arenas everywhere and puts out hits like nobody else. I'm a straight guy but I think I have a man crush. Lol

Ty if you will react to this next song I will never ask you to react to another one again that's how great I think it's. It's You look so good in love but with a twist... Jamie Fox sings it at a ceremony honoring George Strait. Trust me you won't regret it. I've asked you to react to several songs but unfortunately my requests haven't been seen I guess I really hope that you see this one. I don't know if anyone else will request this because its been several years ago so please trust me when I say that you will love it. Thanks Ty. God bless you and your family my friend.

Considered "King of Country". Have to say, Alan Jackson is considered at least Prince if not tied for King. Their performance styles are pretty much the same---just stand there and sing!!! As you can see, that's really all that's needed!!! Saw George Strait for the first time on his "The Cowboy Rides Away" tour. So glad I got to see him! 😎😊
